Yeah, without Smash Run, it's gonna be a real pain in the hiney gettin them customs for da Wii U version, but ah just think yer sayin that since yer not gettin a Wii U, am ah right?
It pretty much is because of the lack of Smash Run. Unless cancelling with the HOME Menu (Home Cancelling) works for the Wii U too, it's going to be hard to get them.

What about Smash Tour and the Special Orders thing? Those probably give out customs.

Or maybe crazy orders hands out custom moves like candy but you are very likely to lose them if you fail.

LOL, what is this???
Probably Xander (the voice for the Announcer) taking a request to say "Please Understand" in the voice of the announcer, much like what he did when he sung the Pokemon theme song in the announcers voice.
And because you guys need to hear this daily or else you're not real people here it is again:

Alright, Pokemon Trainer Moveset.

But I wanted to be more creative than just the first generation, so instead...

Pokémon Trainer Ethan

Final Smash: Tower Duo - Throws out two master balls, sending out :250: and :249:. These two Pokémon act as if sent out of a regular Poke Ball. (:249: uses Aeroblast, :250: uses Sacred Fire)

Neutral Attack: Throws two weak punches, then a low sweep, having the abilities to trip opponents.

Dash Attack: A weak shoulder tackle that sends opponents skyward. Similar to Captain Falcon's, but weaker.

F-Tilt: An :023: launches out of a Pokeball on Gold's belt.

D-Tilt: A :050: pops out of the ground, launching opponents in the air.

U-Tilt: Tosses a Pokeball in the air, then catches it behind his head.

F-Smash: Thrusts a Pokeball forward, as shown in this artwork.

D-Smash: Tosses two Pokeballs down to his feet. When released, two :162: jump out to the side.

U-Smash: Holds a Pokeball above his head, then a :186: leaps out, then falls to the ground.

N-Air: A standard sex kick.

F-Air: Sends an :201a: out in front of him. Similar to the Villager's F-Air.

B-Air: Releases a :129: out from behind him. The :129: immediately falls to the ground, then lingers for a little while, splashing.

U-Air: Releases a :166: above him. Acts similarly to Mega Man's U-Air.

Neutral B:

:002: (1): Releases an Ivysaur out of a Pokeball. Ivysaur uses Razor Leaf three times in rapid sucsession, then goes back in its Pokeball.

:005: (2): Releases a Charmeleon out of a Pokeball. Charmeleon spits out a hot ball of fire, acting similarly to Arcfire / PK Fire.

:008: (3): Releases a Wartortle out of a Pokeball. Wartortle immediately uses Water Gun, then goes back in its Pokeball.

Side B:

:215: (1): Releases a Sneasal out of a Pokeball. Sneasal then dashes forward, and slashes any opponents caught in its way. Somewhat similar to Ike's Side-B.

:123: (2): Releases a Scyther out of a Pokeball. Scyther dashes a shorter distance than Sneasal, but any opponents caught in its way will be stuck in rapid slashes dealing a total of 18%.

:213: (3): Releases a Shuckle out a Pokeball. You can pick Shuckle up and throw him, and enemies hit by Shuckle will be OHKO'ed. Acts like Bonsly from Brawl.

Up B:

:017: (1): Flies Gold through the air, then releases him. Acts similarly to Olimar's Winged Pikmin.

:015: (2): Rises higher and faster than Pidgeotto, but does not last as long.

:207: (3): Gold grabs onto Gligar's tail, then Gligar leaps high into the sky, and can fly horizontally for a long period of time. Similar to Palutena's Jump Glide.

Down B:

:232: (1): Releases a Donphan out of a Pokeball. Donphan curls up into a ball, leaps into the air, and plummets into the ground. Causes a short-ranged Earthquake that does lots of damage.

:214: (2): Releases a Heracross out of a Pokeball. Heracross dashes forward, grabs opponents, and flips them overhead.

:184: (3): Releases an Azumarill out of a Pokeball. Azumarill glides on a wave of water, washing away opponents caught in the wave. Acts similarly to Oshawott.

Obvious Alts (changes name like Koopalings):

Oh wow, nice of the guy to do requests like that.

I'm watching a vid of his, and Xander states that it took him a couple of hours, then he was done with the voice recordings. I wonder if VAs who voiced fighters spend the same amount of time recording.

Just remember, Calem and Serena are also referred strictly as Pokemon Trainer in the JP/US releases. UK seems to have weird naming schemes.

If PT was somehow DLC, the name would not include the trainer's name. It's still be Pokemon Trainer, regardless of the costume. Although I think they should just do ones from Gen 1, 2, 3, and 5. 2, 3, and 5 have no reps anymore/anyway, so they're the best choices, imo. And Gen 1 does deserve the costumes regardless. I forget how many specifics different Generations of Trainers there are. I know Crystal is replaced by Lyra. And May and Brendan may have new names in the remakes too. Orlando and whatever the other one was. If the Demo means anything. So, there's Red, Gold, Ruby, Diamond, Black 1, Black 2, and X. Unless the Gen 3 guys are considered completely new characters(outside of Lyra, who is an actual new character, Silver still exists, and Gold became Ethan, but they're the same person). My ideas would be a costume based upon Red, Ethan, Orlando/Brendan(assuming they're the same), Lyra, Serena, Dawn, Hilbert, and Rosa. 8 unique alts. Although to be fair, both Serena and Red are explicitly called Pokemon Trainer and probably should say that regardless, even if the others got named. No reason to change their names from how it is officially and in SSB's own canon naming scheme.

If it couldn't get worse for how Smash does it, it's only name-dropped Anime characters and specifically uses Misty's anime design. For whatever reason, Sakurai doesn't like acknowledging any regular protagonist of the games as their "original name", just their class. If it was just regular PT, this would be just a one-time thing, but he did it again for Calem and Serena. He calls them Pokemon Trainer(X and Y). They're called Trainers(X and Y) in the UK, but it's the same meaning. To put it simply, it's beyond unlikely he's going to actually give them their proper names, whether it's a color(Red) or their updated name(Brendan). I don't know why. He's weird when it comes to Pokemon. Clearly Anime names are okay to drop. Misty would seem like a normal Trainer, but again, she's specifically designed after her Anime version. It's probably because every protagonist is not meant to have a regular personality when played as, so he went with the Class instead, gave them the same dialogue as the games, and easy. Considering you can name yourself via the Name option, you effectively can name your Pokemon Trainer in Smash.

...I do wish Mii Brawler had a Pokemon Trainer design option. I don't think any of their hats or clothing is available.

A guy just cut across 2 lanes of traffic to get in front of me, didn't turn on his turn signal until AFTER he turned (Why the hell even turn it on in that case) AND stopped at a green light until it turned red

Someone always has it worse than you, you shouldn't complain about your problems. Since that means everyone is worse off than everyone else, then nobody should be complaining.
The way I see it, there is no point in saying things could be worse

That's like telling a depressed person to be happy

Apparently they are reusing some assets from that 3D Zelda game that came out early in the 3DS' life and trying to call it a new game

Hey, is it possible to spike someone up so they get dunked down? 'Cause that just happened when an Ike used Aether and it sent me up towards the stage and slammed me down to the blast zone. I was at about 50% to 70%.

I believe it's just the case of Aether's hits connecting better.
And... More detail would be nice like does Aether have some "weirdness" where it still does the full move even if Ike is knocked out if it? I clashed with a Fire Bird and all I remember is that he used Aether, I was spiked into the sky and dunked down. Ike ended up grabbing the ledge right after... Y'know, I should have saved that replay. Oh well.

You were hit with the start-up of Aether which takes you up into the air of the move, get hit by the multiple hits of the move then got carried down with the downward hitbox of the move. If you clashed with Aether then I'm not sure what to tell you unless something else actually happened then what you thought did.

What the hell? Really? Shouldn't the hitbox disappear once it's interrupted? I clashed right as Ike used Aether and it still followed through the entire move... This reminds me of lag in Metal Gear Online (2) where you would literally rubber band from place to place, stay in one place when you thought you were halfway across the map, and drop dead for no reason.

Speaking of which, that match was full of weird. I remember spiking Ike (or was a Link player?) for no reason while we were fighting to get back on the stage. Falco's Dair doesn't activate that fast and I'm pretty sure I didn't press jump to footstool him. Let's blame all of this on lag.

If Aether still went through it's full animation and didn't get interrupted then you didn't actually clash with move. Keep in mind that Aether is disjointed which means good priority which makes it hard to clash with. The move also has Super Armor.

This 10 year old girl is a pro at Smash, I can only imagine when she gets older and keeps player, her name would be known in the Smash world.
Holy hell can that cameraman like stop having a seizure for at least 2 seconds? Seriously dude. It is interesting though.

I love it how everyone is hype and theres no salt. Just people having fun with Smash, across all ages, like Nintendo intended.
