I know, but that game and Splatoon are the only games that is already released to be on the show floor, not counting the tournament Nintendo is having there (Splatoon I can understand due to that huge update it recently got but Smash is slowly reaching its 1 year anniversary).

I'm not holding my breath for Smash news this weekend but I'll still see what PAX will offer.

Not really. I found his game fun, if a little hard.

I wouldn't be against his inclusion in Smash if it didn't throw other characters like K. Rool, Isaac or Bandana Dee into question. I have nothing against the character or his fans.

That's pretty much what I'm saying. There are not a lot of good choices, and whoever gets in will receive backlash because people can't accept a character's inclusion to the roster and whine.

Personally I'm indifferent on Shovel Knight. This goes to every single character, too: I'm not going to do coinflips and guess correctly on whether a character will be in or not.

Being THE best indie game that is on the same level, or actually even above some of the classic NES and SNES games while being made with the same design choices in mind? Plus a solid and memorable design. And an amazing soundtrack he could bring over. I mean he could represent "indie games" in the same vain Mega Man represents "Capcom games", you know? And I dont really see anyone else filling that spot, even Shantae is kinda bland and forgettable in comparison.

But like I believe: In fighting games, how the character fights is more important than who the character is.

That is why I have Naruto for my Super Smash Flash 2 main despite my nonexisting interest for his anime/manga.
