The mainstream will tell you it's about making mathematical models and trying them out to see if they fit the real world, somehow, then making policy recommendations from that.
The truth is that economics is just discovering all the implications of how humans act / interact to explain market phenomena.

All jokes aside I think everyone is fine. The younger people aren't on as much and neither are those busy with heavy college schedules. Mine is incredibly light this semester so I'll be on a lot.
