I hope everyone is ready for Christmas. Papa and his elves are working hard to get your gifts ready. I hope everyone has been good this year. :)
I know for a fact that we've all been very, very naughty.

From what I have seen, my dear stranger, you have kept your naughty posting habits to the room of disco where it belongs. You just recently made it off of the naughty list. Papa is very happy with you.
Hooray! I get to have my laser rifle after all! :)

Just recently purchased and began to play Fallout 4. I've logged fifteen hours so far, which I think is enough time to pass my late, late verdict.

As someone who only played 3 and New Vegas for the first time three years ago, I was still under the enchantment of Bethesda and postapoctalyptia. Fallout 4 starts out really strong, and as far as exploration goes, it's one of the best games you could get. The story isn't that strong, but then again, the story has never really been strong in any Bethesda game. The lore is great as always, and the side quests and world are incredibly well detailed. The character creation is... lacking, and a lot of the smaller stuff I enjoyed from the last generation of Fallout games isn't there anymore, and is replaced by a bunch of stuff I personally don't care about, like the homestead building and the new way of doing the alliance system, which is basically not doing it at all other than one dialogue line. If you really want a great Bethesda RPG, Obsidian or New Vegas are the games I'll recommend. If you n want a Bethesda adventure game, I'd recommend Fallout 4, 3 and Skyrim. 4 is certainly a well designed and purty game, and polishes the gameplay and follower systems, but it's not my favorite game, or even my favorite Fallout, as that title goes to New Vegas.

Hmm... My first set of usernames were music based, the second set is food based.. I wonder what I should choose as my third set.

Ok, guys, here;s a very weird thing:

Few thing: It's vertical because I had no choices (I had to have the mic inside the cups of my headphones and yes, these are my headphones) and no, this isn't porn, but just me touching an audio jack :)

Anyway, anyone know why it does that?

I'm not 100% sure but its probably because there is a small amount of AC power running throght the cable at a frequency to high for your headphones to output (AC can run throght the cable even when when unplugged because the cable has capacitance. That's why cables still consume power even when only plugged into the wall) Then when you touch the end of the jack it adds another capacitor to the circuit which throws a bunch of harmonics out of phase which creates an audible signal.

It;s plugged on my line in port of my pc though, not in the wall (I woudln;t try to plug a jack in the wall......sounds very dangerous)

well I know that but your computer is plugged into the wall and the circuitry in your sound card is leaking power into the line in cable.

If you plugged your headphones into a wall socket you would hear this
(the french electrical grid uses 50 hz AC (you're french and im not just imagining it right?))
before the voice coils in your headphones melt or short
Edit:you're actually Canadian...close enough

ok, but we are talking about what frequency by too high?

these headphones has a ridiculous frequency range compared to the 22k that we can hear. They are 12 - 38.5k htz (idk why they do this because you can;t even hear past 22k and for me, past 17k cause ages)

I'm just sitting here waiting for E3 and uncharted to come out. What a boring month(except for smash and xenoblade). Doesn't help that it's 60 degrees on Christmas Day.

I just came back from my sister's wedding, nearly passing out and wanting to puke.
It was a great day however, a lot of people came to the event.
She asked me to enter alongside her, which I did.
I feel bad since I didn't cry, however. Everyone else was bawling their eyes out. I was truly happy for her, though.
I'm sorta disgusted at myself for being completely unable to cry. A few months ago my greatgrandmother died and I didn't cry. I felt just a little bit sad, but nothing else.
I'm scared about myself, and I don't think that's good.

I honestly can't tell you the exact frequency but its probably really high like between 50 - 100kHz (the reason it leaks is because its so high frequency) The reason you headphones can output up to 38.5kHz is because harmonics still have an effect on the sound you hear even if the harmonic is outside of the audible range. So the headphones need to be able to be able to output those inaudible harmonics.

I've seen so many reactions to Bayonetta's inclusion in Smash and I'm so happy to see how almost overwhelmingly positive the reception has been.

......so you are telling me that I can;t hear these, but it noticeably improve the sounds????

Like, clear me out a thing, what is an harmonic?

Like, I thought sounds was just......frequency bunched together.....in a tight sandwich (ok you get the idea, but what is harmonics?)

This enplanes them far better than I ever could.
