I really feel like they should have just gone the whole nine yards and made a textured head with the cap. There's no skin-tone that matches the wooden body, and the plain details of miis definitely stands out. A shame, really, since the rest of the costume looks really good.

Ah well, I guess I'll always be cursed to have unpopular opinions.

I actually do agree, I think that's probably the biggest issue with the film.

Aside from that, I'd say the acting was better, the writing was better, but the spaceships weren't as good.

I can also see why the pre-release stuff was so vague; aside from straight-up spoilers, there's a lot of stuff in this film that's just delightful to watch. One of my favorite aspects of the series is how inventive it is, and episode VII is no exception.

With that said, here is the complete list of spoiler-free impressions:

• The opening shot is cool.
• Snoke is rather taller than I expected.
• Kylo Ren is a good villain.

Kylo Ren is seriously an amazing character. He isn't just "cool", he kinda reminds me of Zant in that he builds himself up as a big bad Sith Lord but has very little underneath. One of my favorite moments is when he takes off his Darth Vader-esque mask an is dramatically revealed to be... just a normal dude. Yet where he is handled better than Zant is how he progresses throughout the film. The turning point is when he kills his father Han Solo. Let's get one thing straight: if you kill Han Solo, you are the most evil character in the series. Period. By the end of the film, Kylo Ren stops being some schmuck in cool armor and becomes a monster. But despite his transition to the Dark Side, there is still weakness. He is defeated by Rey in battle, though he survives. I can't wait to see what they do with Kylo Ren in the future two films.

Han Solo's portrayal is absolutely spot-on. Remember Crystal Skull, where Harrison Ford was basically some pathetic old guy pretending to by Indiana Jones? There's none of that here. Han Solo in this movie is very much Han Solo, but older. Of course everyone left his side but Chewbacca, he's Han Solo. Of course he ends up cornered between two gangs he owes ridiculous amounts of money to, he's Han Solo. Of course he was a terrible father to Kylo Ren, he's Han Solo. I would have been salty if they'd had him settled down with Leia and lots of children, because that would've been completely unbelievable. This also inevitably leads to the fact that, as much of a lovable scoundrel Han is, his lack of responsibility can also cause serious problems.

Luke and Leia didn't really get much of an opportunity to do much. Luke obviously only shows up at the very end, and wordlessly at that. Though there's still character development hinted at, like him taking responsibility to what happened to Kylo. Leia, meanwhile, felt a bit uninteresting. Though she probably hates herself now for sending Han to his death, so there's potential for interesting development there.

Every single scene with Finn and Rey is gold. The way they play off of each other is great. I'd elaborate but I'm getting tired now and this is running really long. I pause to note that the only new character I didn't like was Poe Dameron, who came across as a very vanilla "hotshot pilot" character. I recall that Wedge was slated to appear in the film but the actor declined to appear, so I suspect that Poe is intended as a replacement.

In short, the similarity of the plot to A New Hope is made up for by how interesting the characters were. The character writing was amazing, and the acting had me absolutely believing everything they did.

I'm not sure when I'm gonna see TFA myself, though probably sometime next week. While I'm excited for it and definitely wanna see it asap, I didn't wanna go when I'd be surrounded by loud, gross nerds, especially since I already don't like being around lots of people. I know people are excited, but you know, I'll probably refrain from going "WHOO!" as loud as I can when Han Solo shows up, or when anything neat happens. He's annoying.
I mean, the dude hits like a truck with his anime sword and kills any light character with one F-smash at around 60% with rage on. Most of the time, he charges his limit break and only counts on it when he really doesn't need it to be good except for his recovery. And speaking of that recovery, he dies when he tries to edgeguard low. A guy killed me low with his Fair but died because Cloud couldn't come back.

Yet, I still hate fighting him because I main Luigi and I feel that the poor green stache has a bad matchup against him.
So I have to use Mario to get this guy. Yeah, a plumber defeats an anime terrorist. This isn't weird or anything.

Does this sound salty ?

Coming from someone who seen the movie, it was a blast from begging to end. Though the more judgmental Star Wars fans might feel that it didn't live up to some of the originals (Episodes IV - VI).

The Green Linguini has poor air mobility so he's easily juggled. Nair is his saving grace.

I've been using more and more on FG and the drop like flies to him.

At first, Linguini had a good time with Cloud. He just came out, no videos with M2K or Zero explaining how to make him work. So it was fun to destroy players with no skills playing Cloud.

But then they learned his combos and now Linguini is looking at clouds in a fearful way.

Linguini is kill.

Cloud's recovery can be easily gimped, and non-LB Climhazzard is kinda bad to begin with.

I think I prefer The Arrow, though. While Flash had some really good plot twists, I feel that Arrow has a stronger story overall.

Cloud primary weakness is his recovery (Without Limit Break.) and character that are most fast than him. Sure, if he get in you're face, you're going to have a bad time. (Sans Bad Time Quote: Finish) But really, you have to pressure him with anything you got. And be careful of his Limit Break. (By the way, i have did like 5 match against a Cloud player, i have played him a little and i have see alot of info on him. Really, he his good. But he as some big weakness.)

I personally hated season 3 of Arrow and season 4 is looking a bit weak. Hopefully it gets better, seems like they're just setting up for Legends of Tomorrow.
