Only going to comment on the last point because it's fine for the others.
- If Paper Mario has copies, you have to press the Y button the same amount of times if you want to have an 'EXCELLENT!' jump. Hammer isn't that hard, just wait until all copies have their hammer ready to smash. And there's a level-up bonus that gives you the opportunity to do two actions in the same turn although that's only available as the final rank bonus. And if you look at it that way, yes, there's more strategy than in other games because you indeed lose a turn if you use the Copy Block and you have to decide whether to use a healing item or to trust your dodge instincts.
- Something I forgot to mention about the battle cards, unless you're really lucky, you have to do some work to make your battle set OP.
- I think it does make it more interesting. It gives you more satisfaction when you finally beat a boss. (There's also easy mode by the way, makes your characters stronger and the enemies weaker)
- About the animations, I heard the exact opposite of what you heard. Although I didn't take one aspect in account in my earlier post, but it would be spoilers if I said what I mean.
I didn't heard about it.
I saw / read concrete instances.
The way he appears for the first time, the meeting cs, a certain scene when he is used as a napkin, and many many many forms he takes (the JP trailer is a good example).
He's very quirky in the way that he wants to do stuff in a stylish! way of doing them. It's very obvious in TTYD btw, but paper jam from what I have seen is pushing this A LOT.
Woudl you think the same?
