I finally watched the first episode of Sailor Moon Crystal. I thought it was not bad.

The first 8 episodes are pretty cool....then it takes a nosedive on the 9th and picks up again in the next arc

I like him too. The way I see it, his face is completely out of proportion with the rest of the cast making him stand out weirdly, and status-effect fighting style might not only be unappealing to play as, but also be annoying to fight against.

And some people will just hate wacky characters no matter what I guess, theyr loss.

Minecraft is still one of the most popular, iconic, and, most importantly, profitable games of the last generation and the current one. They aren't suddenly going to stop their hegemony of the downloadable market because some people are sick of it.

Not to defend Minecraft as a game but this is why this is still happening.

Fair enough. I'm a little mad that they're passing if off as the "big announcement" despite it already being on every other platform at this point though aside from handhelds. (And even then, there's a mobile version.)

Do I care too much aside from that? Not really. I know that people enjoy it, but there's also a fairly large amount of people who got bored of it.
