I decided to completely wipe my laptop and tinker with it.
I've become a mad scientist with Technology.
That's how I felt when I learned about linux, I grew a bit tired of how windows was jsut.....the same and had some......pickyness with it. So I wanted to know what the freak was this linux that I never saw but hear about it.
Then i got ubuntu and surprisingly, it was very........functional, impressive for a free os, it;s just so bad that the UI is just.......NO. I tried KDE shell, it's worse, seriously, never get kde it's just urgh.
So, uninstall, learn about mint, seems MUCH better, but felt I wasn;t good enough so uninstall. months after, i really tried because I has even more issues with windows.
It kept going like this until I once justr tried to live with mint for months, not only I realised I coudl, but I realsied I SHOULD have done this much earlier.
Hence how I switched and never going back again
Btw, for mint if you got 17.2 (the latest version) cinnamon edition, feel free to tag me if you want explanation because i use this OS daily and I learned a lot from it
Well, I regret losing my fanart and VGM collection, but I can download that again.
Terms and Conditions?
you know you could have dual booted then copy your stuff then repartition to have mint only?
......or just backup, I mean it;s an OS install,. it's just a critical thing to do to a pc
