We haven't heard anything from them since E3. This kind of silence is really uncharacteristic of them, and who knows why they're staying like that.
Maybe it's still Iwata's death having an effect but it's been quite a while since then.

If I made the next Smash it would be Melee speed, projectiles would deal no knockback or stun. Do shields regenerate after time? If they do then they wouldn't in mine.

The melee speed would be to shut up melee tards, amd the projectile thing is because projectile moves are annoying to play against.

Never base a game on the wants of the vocal minority. You want to attract the silent majority and then some, to shut up the vocal people.

Actually that's a good idea. It'd be Brawl speed because **** melee fans.

I would add a stage hazard switch though, because I'd rather play a stage without hazards than in FD form,

I guess, I'l still stick to Brawl having way too many cons, significant ones related to gameplay. So much so that I never got the game, even thought it was a system seller to me at one point in time when the hype mashine was still rolling early on.

Open is, quite honestly, the most disappointing entry in the Mario Tennis series by far.

Boring modes that only last an hour or two, easy computers that provide no real challenge, short tourney mode, and the random online multiplayer is completely dead.... This is coming from a guy who loves Mario Tennis, by the way.

The new one looks much better, to be sure. I would wait for that one.

I really like PM but i hate how they designed the AI for Fox and Falco. It is really annoying in Classic mode.

Turns out the second most difficult to learn mod in Osu! is the easy mod. I think this is a sign that something is very wrong with how the easy mod is implemented in Osu!.

64 - Hard to argue against. Is outclassed now, but it's aged well and has some of the best stages in the series.

Melee - I agree the speed isn't bad, but at the same time I do agree with Sakurai in that the game was hard/was targeted at hardcore fans. Going back to it now it feels too heavy and clunky for my taste.

Brawl - Tripping is very much dumb, but I think it's overrated as an argument. The gameplay is less aggressive but I never had much of an issue with it. Meta Knight is OP, but the game has the same balance as Melee overall IMO. SSE I can respect as a mode despite the hiccups. I blame the Nintendo/Wii as a whole for Brawl's piss poor online more than Sakurai.

PM - I respect the effort and talent behind it, but calling it it's own game I think is a stretch as I think there's too many re-used assets/I look at it and I can tell it's a mod upon first glance. Additionally I think it's a perfect example of why Sakurai wants to avoid targeting a specific audience like he did in Melee.

4 - Online is pretty much, "well at least it's better than Brawl." Too many good stages were ruined by bosses. Equipment not being separate from Customs, which themselves are polarizing in use (not in matches, just agreeing how to use them in rulesets, also DLC character BS). Amiibo having damage/knockback boosts as they gain levels.
