It wasn't until just now that I realized Smash 4 is apparently E10+

I never looked at the rating and just assumed it was T all this time :b

Smash 4 is still rated PEGI 12 in Europe.

I can understand Brawl being T because of Snake and the SSE, but why Melee? Giga Bowser? Or was the appearance of Pichu thát scary?

Well I'm in the US and I don't even pay attention to the ratings over here.

Perks of being an adult I suppose.

I had to fight with my parents for months to convince them to let me buy Melee even though I was underage at the time. They wouldn't let me at first.

They let me get it because my parents let me watch pg 13 movies.
However they will not let me touch an m rated game, but I don't really want to anyways.

yes, the existence of a bottom tier character was too much for the ESRB to give it a T rating.

Will this generation of parents prevent them considering they played the likes of shooters, or will they just prevent them for the time being until they believe he or she is mature enough to play it? :4rob: Mysteries man, I love them. Mythology especially.

I remeber I rented Melee at like... Young, cant remember my age and my dad said " You sure you want that Its rated T you know" I just nodded
