There are a lot of different reasons. Far too many to discuss in one post. The tl;dr version is that it acts as a bookmark for me, I can see which posts I have read and which I have not. Secondly, it also helps me establish a relationship with every user more quickly than just talking with them. It indicates that I read their post, so it does not feel ignored. It also makes me more memorable, because I am essentially the only one that does it. I pop up in their feeds more often than most. I have gotten some copy-cat killers over the years; regardless, being one of three or four is better than being just another brick in the wall.

Well it's seem to be a very noble reason i have to say. But i wouldn't say that it's only you that do that. (I mean liking every post.) Because other person do this for other reason. But still, you seem to be a nice person.

Yes, there are other reasons, of course. I used to have a top ten list for why. It included that it makes people happy (improves their day); however, on the very same list, it included that it annoyed them (social experiments for the win). It is a great tool at your disposal that many neglect and only use when memes are posted or when they agree with someone.

To be fair, and I reread the global rules to be certain, it prohibits sexually explicit material. Fetishes, as long as they are not detailed, are not explicit in nature. For instance, if I stated, "Zero Suit Samus' heels are nice, maybe I have a foot fetish" that would not be sexually explicit. I mean, the global rules do have that little "at the discretion of the mods" disclaimer. But, at the same time, you indicated that this seems to be a reoccuring problem and the title of this thread ALWAYS asks you to read the Original Post. So, the suggestion, to me, was a constructive one that would probably help.
