Trust me, they're both worth picking up. And if you're going for GSC, now is the time to do it. Activity wise it's at its peak. It's rare enough to see 5 users playing GSC but 30.. It's not going to last. =(

I'd much rather play 1st, even though it is hard to play it competitively with all the weird-*** mechanics. And GSC feels waaaaaaay too defensive for my tastes
