If the patches continue at their current type, Pit will be top tier because everyone in top and high tier will be nerfed to hell.

That and I really should stop saying it, but Pit is Sakurai's new son(old Kirby is now more of an old friend now, while new Kirby is his enemy). Pit has done the Sakurai family good.

Just gave me an idea. I'll make a list of moves that kill in Sudden Death conditions, rage and freshness included.

Tonight though, I have SGDQ to watch.

SDI is a mechanic that allows players to slightly alter their position during the freeze frames of being hit by an attack.

Just wiggle between / to escape attacks. SDI or hitstun shuffling is making your character wiggle during the initial hitstun, DI is changing the angle you're launched. In previous games, SDI was much more powerful to the point where many moves just wouldn't work against competent players.

After another bout of insomnia, I awaken to another Smash announcement. Swear I'm psychic or something. The announcement? That K. Rool and Chrom will be playable.

As Mii Fighter costumes.

Brain doesn't work right now... I think it's only a few days until the update lands? Tournament mode, the costumes, and the N64 stages will all come at once, and my gut feeling is that there's going to be more changes. So I'm going to take my topic with all the KB numbers and the patch checker and rebrand it to be the patch topic, like I planned. I'll talk more later... Hope I can get some sleep now.

Back to the patch... Not much left to say, actually. It's coming out on Friday at some early time like it usually does. Changes not confirmed, Youtube uploads are I think (inside of my head's basically static), and then there's going to be more costumes according to the tweet. There's a "leaked" Dr. Mario stage too, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I know Peach Castle is a counter pick, Hyrule whatever is banned. If the Dr.Mario stage and Green Bay ate actually stages, hopefully they're legal.

I'm not excited for Great Bay at all. I loved it back in Melee (though I was a Link main back then) but of all the stages to bring back, why that one? I would have preferred Pokemon Stadium 1 or hell, even one of the sillier stages like PokeFloats, Big Blue, or Brinstar Depths.

Great Bay is largely unremarkable, probably not big enough for 8 player smash, not a tournament legal stage... so basically just an inclusion that only Legend of Zelda mains will enjoy (because we can never have too many of those stages).

All the stages you named will most definitely not return, due to their music already being apart of different stages in the game.

I wouldn't mind Green Bay coming back, I don't remember crap about it anyways, so it'll be like going down memory lane(without Fountain of Dreams and beating on Pichu).

Reset Bomb Forest and Arena Ferox would bring in more competitive stages(getting sick of hearing the same Animal Crossing song and stages over and over) while Living Room, Rainbow Road, and Spirit Train would be fun stages to have.
