Epic as in made any fight with this music playing in the backround climactic and awesome.

For me, it's a dead tie between Golden Sun Battle Scene / Final Boss and the Legendary Air Ride Machine.

Golden Sun because it's so fast and awesome and METAL, with lots of moving guitar, which are all things I like.

Legendary Air Ride machine is orchestrally superb, with a stirring melody and a very rousing, inspirational undertone to it.

If understand this right, are you asking for the most epic song in Brawl? If so, there was a thread way back that had people vote for best song. Not sure if that thread still exists. Winner was Bramble Blast. King Dedede's Theme came in a very close second.

I personally like the ground theme that plays on Mushroomy Kingdom 1-1. The SMB3 Airship theme is also pretty good, along with Tetris Type A.

Personally, I hate the O² remix in Brawl. It's so corny and ugly sounding, instead of foreboding and desperate. It's a shame, because I fell in love with the original song when I played Crystal Shards. However, I think the Brawl remix of the Squeak Squad theme made an already good song about 8 times better, and it definitely fits the bill of epic showdown, minus the occasional squeak thrown in here and there. Some other good and oft overlooked ones are, in no particular order:

Boss Theme Medley (Kirby) - One of the fastest paced song in Brawl, and even though it's a medley it doesn't feel too much like patchwork.
The Lost Village (LoZ:TP) - There's not much more epic and climatic than a western showdown at high noon.
Airship Theme (SMB3) - This definitely has that climatic feeling. It sounds like the greatest challenge you've ever faced getting ready to smack you down.
Boss Battle Song 1 (SSBB) - It's probably the most epic song original to Brawl. Not to be confused with the song called Boss Battle, which is a remix of the theme from Melee.
Against the Dark Knight (FE9) - Pretty much the same reason as Airship Theme, plus a dash of overcoming obstacles thrown in.

Argh... I totally forgot the Airship Theme! Add that to my list, plus:

Devil's Call in Your Heart
Shin Onigashima
Dialga/Palkia Theme

I'm just a fan of the whole game's soundtrack! I can't choose most epic! :ohwell:

It has the SoS in it, Ganondorf's theme, AND Serenade of Water. And the intro is awesome.

Meta Knight's Revenge and Golden Sun's Felix/Doom Dragon Battle theme are pretty good imo(I just wished it went back to Felix's Battle theme instead of loop at the Doom Dragon theme).

Hmm.. a toughie..

It's definetly between The Dark World or Frigate Orpheon or any Fire Emblem themes.

They just have a good moody deeling about that I like, weird but true.
