Different sources say all kinds of different things. I generally immediately dissmiss all kinds of leaks and "insider" reports unless they have anything to back up or validate their claims, and generally it usually is nothing.
Keep in mind that even the most notable leakers like Liam Robertson, Emily Rogers, and even good ol' Vergeben goof up on a fairly regular basis.

Sup' I was summoned in attack mod my Fellow Screaming Kids in Rythmn.

I'll make it quick, ResetERA's Administrator, ZhugeEX, who's a very serious economical analyst and all that more...Important stuff, and generally like 400 feet above any of your usual "insiders" like Emily Roger and Liam and all those guys. He like sometimes hinting and teasing people in the different thread (the one I can quickly remember is the announcement of Funky Kong on tropical Freeze switch), he hinted that People in the ResetERA speculation thread are starting to piece things together.


Supposedly reffering this post.

So if we put the pieces together we may end up with something like:

Incineroar and Ken are in.
Shadow and Isaac are back as ATs.
Mach Rider and Chorus Kids are normal trophies.
Banjo is not in the game.
Geno ???
A surprise character, maybe even two. One could be from a third party (SE?).

As I said, it probably ISNT this post, and maybe he's talking about the general speculation on their thread and how they are maybe closer to the truth.


Anyway, please know that I fully support a Rythm Heaven character, and I shall leave this custom remix here because it's my favorite.
Hopefully, he isn't refering to this post.

I appreciate the informative nature of the first post. I had been puzzled as to what exactly the Chorus Kids would have for movesets. While I'm not familiar with what the other minigames they could pull from are, I get the broad idea a bit more now.

Regarding the filtration of the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate I think the "gossip" (refer to the insiders) that have reached us, is a way to advertise the title, is the way they can get the attention of Gamers to that they are occupied in thinking what is happening, but everything is handled, by the publicists of the own Nintendo / Namco Bandai and to the date programmed for the exit of SSBU. The new characters are already defined.

Quite honestly I get more doubtful of the Grinch everyday. Regardless, I still have some faith. And I wanted to say that I sincerely hope that you guys get your characters in. Rhythm Heaven is the ****, and the Chorus Kids would be super fun. Fingers crossed.

Take this also in account:

I feel like every "reporter" has been given load of baloney info here and there - and now it's catching on to them right when their "credibility" has made them become these "celebs" in the Smash-speculation community and given them such ridiculous amounts of attention before.

Now the Grinch-leak has come in which seems to point to such stone-hard visual evidence against what they used to gain so much attention of and put their credibility entirely on jeopardy.

I personally had been indecisive on the leak's credibility, only liking the content itself a lot and thinking setting something like this to be fake would be insanely diabolical and pretty sadistic (since it's putting a lot of fellas out of job and ruining the company the leak came from.)

But as of these times, I'm slightly starting to veer on #TeamReal" with how much discrepancies there's been regarding the leak and the reporters acting like they've been driven to a corner and are apparently doing more stunts for that lost attention they used to receive, as they are realizing the info they've been given was actually series of ruses.

When all is said and done, I think we should temper expectations a bit. I definitely think a Rhythm Heaven character is in for sure, but I feel that the possibility of Karate Joe or another hugely iconic RH character could happen in the scenario Sakurai does not want to deal with the technical difficulties of implementing the Chorus Kids again prior to the development phase. CK might be a scrapped idea like Diddy + Dixie in Brawl. We should consider many possibilities and not think with 100% certainty. I do not think technical issues are going to be a problem this time with the lack of 3DS limitations for Ultimate no longer stopping duo character development, but you never know.

Honestly, I love the irony of this.

Vergeben knew something like this would happen. They knew that if they took a step back after August or so, they could have been seen as 100% right. None of their claims were too outlandish. A Gen 7 Pokemon, Isabelle, hell in hindsight Simon makes a lot of sense given that Konami was back on board. They could have gone down as an accurate leaker, and left at that point.

But no, they stayed. They bet the farm on Kencineroar. Despite knowing that misinformation was around. And Vergeben has gotten super cocky. The 'tism post shows this so much. While the Smash fanbase can be... unique, it does not justify that level of being a *******.

Look at how Vergeben reacted. First they reacted with the simple statement that their sources were at odds with the leak. But the moment it appeared some other insiders grumbled about assists, Verge jumped on Isaac being an assist. Verg is betting the farm on this.

As much as I'd love to see Isaac opening the direct, I'd honestly prefer if it were the Chorus Kids.

If they were revealed alongside the Conductor it would basically be confirmation of The Grinch leak right from the word go.

Helloooo Chorusbros!!! Isaacbro here to show support for you guys as the final direct approaches! I must confess that I've never played a RH game before unfortunately, but hearing the ideas of how the Chorus Kids would work really sparks my interest! I hope you guys get your time since it got denied last second from Smash 4 sadly.

I am also 95% real on the Grinch leak. With that said, The Grinch Crew shall rise victorious and save Smash hype!

With Chorus Kids moveset I'm guessing it'll be similar to Olimar where the conductor is in charge, or they could do a Game and Watch thing where it references various minigames from the series. Regardless, if the Grinch leak is real I'd love to see how Sakurai is going to execute their movesets
