I'm tryna go to socal for like 4 days or so in mid-late August, but I need housing, since Mango is all booked up. D=
I want to be housed so I can have access to Mango/Lucky at all times, meaning I hope they live by you and are going to stay the night at your place with me and we'll all play Melee and go to KFC and stuff.

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa sounds good lol. I guess I'll go Friday-Sunday then lol. I'll arrive earlier on Friday and have someone like Mike or Mango's mom pick me up =D
I'll post which week I'm coming when I know. Should be within the next few days.
Any possibility of a tournament? Also, I'll mm any Fox, Falco, or Falcon with my Marth.

As for DJ Combo, he doesn't got the funds right now, and I don't got the funds to cover him sadly. =/

nobody plays AR in a serious scrim, AR's purely a pub mode.

As for AP, I hope you're talking about APXL (4 bans per team and picks in 1-2-2-2-2-1 format with 6.52e), and not just AP to pick your own heroes etc. EM is a joke mode for scrubs.

In short, in a casual ih (more or less organized where everyone knows how to play etc, but it's not a serious match) people play RD, which uses the same 1-2-2-2-2-1 picking format, except it randomly takes a pool of 22 heroes out of the total 88, hence the name "Random Draft."

CAL is a pretty joke league; there are more prestigious leagues if that's what you're into; CAL dropped off about 1-2 years ago (corrupt mods/admins or something of the sort).

Anyways, for US West, most people play in DXD, which is an open IH league, although you do get people from x6/Shakens etc in here occasionally (read: at the worst, slightly better than pub + no leavers). Most games are -startgame, which anyone can sign, and the bot decides teams based on a rating system (each player has an individual rating based on wins/losses). There are also captain's games, where people sign in, and the 2 captains are allowed to pick players in a 1-2-2-2-1 format from the given player pool.

DXDi is the higher tier vouch league of DXD, and you have players from various top competitive teams playing there (it's run via GGC though, and not through BNet @ USWest like open DXD is).

Highest tier IH league atm is IHCS2, which is where players from teams like MYM/SK/VP etc play casual games.

Then, for tournament play, you have stuff like ESWC/Dreamhack/MYM PriDe/MYM PDL/F&I/ASUS etc.

I know competitive dota play. I played in CAL while it was still big, now I go to local tourneys to make easy money. I only play APXL and if your willing and have a clan, I would willingly play you in a scrim.

Played with a few clans in my days with CAL, sadly poor management led to the falls of my clans. Played for a few seasons with NNA, then dropped out and started to hit Internet cafe's when CAL started to fall apart. I read in a article that CAL will be re-assigning DoTA to its roster so ill be back, hopefully they dont **** up this time.

I was a bit disheartened when I heard that some team went 10-0-1 with an all-melee joke lineup or some **** in CAL-I or something; never bothered to figure out the veracity of that claim, but hey.

Yeah, I guess we'll see about setting something up tomorrow.

Also, play with Azeem much? Nub quits smash for DotA rofl.

lol, quitting smash for dota is strange. I may have, and tomorrow would be cool, ill get my clan together and I will see what we can do. Yea some teams were a joke in Cal-I, imho call has only had one success ,counter-strike.
