If the gameplay is pretty much the same as Earthbound's, I'm afraid I have to agree.

The story was amazing, but the gameplay was just so boring I got bored before I got to the day after you meet Buzz Buzz.

Buzz hinted at Ness being dumb with "Ness is a Smash mascot." And Gimpy was blatant in ep 36 with mailtime: Who is your worst character in Smash 64, Melee, and brawl? "Ness. Every game. Ness is a dumb character and does not deserve to be in the game."

If I have to play an extended amount of time to get to the fun, it's not a good game imo.

Like Sonic Riders Zero Gravity. That game was fun. But only after I got used to the controls, mechanics, and the AI being a cheating *******. Which took a few hours. So I basically played a few hours of suck to get to the fun.

IMO, Zero Gravity sucked, and this is coming from someone who LOVED the original. But then again, I already made my opinion on that game quite clear when I was on the show...
