A gamne goes gold about a month before launch, and the Tara tweet was less then that, so I doubt the game only went gold about 2 weeks ago

So, recently, I have been wondering... should I try to make a Rottytops support thread? I mean, if you actually look at her, there's quite a large potential for her to have a fun and unique moveset. And obviously, being from the Shantae series, she'd fit in very well with the rest of the Smash cast very well, despite being a zombie.

...But it'd probably never happen, because despite how much I want her, I know the chances of her ever making it in are incomprehensibly low.

If Shantae got in the base Roster, i could see one of her supporting cast get a slot in the DLC.

Play around with some ideas for her moveset first, I don’t think anyone would mind if you post some ideas here before to make a separate thread

While not impossible, it is unlikely that an Assist Trophy would need to have new lines recorded, since all they need to do is resuse some of her voice lines. ParagonYoshi is asking is twitter has a sword emojii, not which emojiis Christina used. because if they do it would have made sense for her to use the sword if she was talking about soul Calibur.

Anyway, I don;t know if her first tweet was about SC. She said in that tweet she was just wrapping up and SC was probably done with most production stuff and enetering post production before she made that "wrap up" tweet.

Now she could have posted it late, she could have been doing DLC voicing, who knows, but i don;t think it;s anything to be concerned over

Yup, two crossed swords would have been far more appropriate for a secret Soul Caliber post than flexing muscles. Thanks for the info, Toy!

Not really, Soul Calibur is a Sword game with some outliers. Smash is a punching/kicking game with it's own outliers. It's in the name. You might have some swords and guns, but those don't Smash, they slice and blast respectively.

There's another "Blog Post" leak. This time, it's claiming the next item will be the Killing Edge item, which is different from a character prediction as it's harder to pin down an explanation as to why it's showed off.

And yes, Shantae is listed as an AT.

hmm.. we'll have to see. I dont really trust the blog post leaks, as so far its just pure guessing with a bit of luck considering Nintendo has a habit of announcing characters or items on special days in their respective franchises history. Even then, thats just exploiting Nintendo's habits and framing it as a "see, im credible!".

Remember kids, pics or it didn't happen.

Exactly. The longer it takes to prove a leak is fake, the more of a red flag it becomes.

Most people do leaks for attention, and they want to stay in the open for as long as possible.

That’s 64 AT in the game while sakurai said that there will be 50 sans is too new custom robo got its trademark canceled zero replaces electric man too many fe reps and the most important thing that makes this false......SHANTAES A FIGHTER NOT AN AT! (Man when will people learn?)

That gose for this whole thread if you see any text leaks that have shantae as an assist.....is is FAKE!
