You know that Sloth, Myself, Kaydash, Bringer, NG7, almost all of us out-of-staters would love to come to Melbourne again (How could I resist more matches with your sexy Mewtwo?). The problem is that we dont know when exams will be, we dont know if we'll have the money or the time to give you a definite response at this time.

All of a sudden the Brisbane smash scene has exploded. There are seriously heaps of us all of a sudden (Some of whom are really good) not to mention smashers in Cairns and in Townsville so at the moment we are happy to smash within our own scene for a while and improve so we can take a better fight to you guys.

Sorry man, its just way too early for people like me to give you a sure response.

It's not that it's falling to pieces. The uni goers amongst us don't know anything about our schedules until our Orientation Day/Week/Whatever. If it clashes with anything important at uni, we simply won't be able to make it. That's why I didn't make it to SEAT1 to clean up JM Anf and Freddo, as well as not going to Japan cos of uni.

So when we know our schedules we can tell you. Till then, it's up in the air.

Besides people would be rolling around in cash their granny gave them for xmas and would possibly be able to make a quick jump on a domestic flight which can be booked only days in advance. Bit late now....oh well it gives QLD the time they need to gather the cash and skill they need.

I'd just like to clear up the rules set by Mark so far:
-No Peach
-No Sheik
-Seb must throw the match if he vs Mark
-Mewtwo must not use Shadow Ball as it's 'cheap'

I for one will be attending no matter what time it is unless I'm invited to somthing cooler.. like a bikini contest at the beach .. in any case I agree with Mark for now ... the labor day long weekend 'sounds' perfect at this juncture ... I would like it to be sooner for the same reasons that shaz has mentioned ... however it seems that having it 'early' is not viable if we want to be able to host a decent number of interstaters ... which we do.

Merry Christmas everyone, just letting you know how I'm doing up here Smashwise. Hmmz, well I had to leave Ken's place super early cus of... well... christmas, but I prolly rank somewhere in the very middle... which is fun. The skill level here is simply put... huge. Vidjo, Canada Mike and Zarelid are hella cool. Ken fell asleep so I couldn't talk to him... HugS is crap for holding back tourney 4 hours >_> So I only had to forefit the first team match I had against Deep Socal (Edreese+Azeem) but it was fun. My Bowser and Jiggs fares well, and my Peach absolutely freaking SUX!!! ZOMG LOL!!

Oh! If I had to compare the Yanks Ive seen to Aussies, I'd say we wouldn't fare that bad at all.

Because I'm pritty certain staying at home in your dungeon playing wow and watching trailers is so much better than winning a bit of money and socialising with many different types of people over a period of one day.

Jet Star's opening over here, so Virgin and Jetstar are going to be competing for low flight costs. Things jsut started looking up. At the moment it's $99 easc way to melb with Jetstar, so that's almost HALF the cost of flying to Melb was last time.

Its exactly how I feel with you guys (<3 Perth/SA/QLD/Sloth xD). While you guys seem to think I have no life and all I do is play WoW constantly, I have friends outside the smash community too.

I would like to get back to the game at my own pace rather than someone asking me to go own "this lil noob". And don't worry, I'll get back to it soon, cos the WoW factor has somewhat drifted off me.
Also Cat's place 2 days ago, and suprise, I got up from from the Computer chair and went to go play some smash with Jon and Cats and huzzah, Best fun i've had in a long time.

I don't care if you disregard all what I've just said. It's exactly how I feel and just wanted to get it off my chest.

Oh Emily...... Come on thats not fair, you know that all us out of staters think the world of you. As much of a **** that I can be I dont judge people who I barely even know, especially people as nice as you.

Even those brutal 4 and 3 stockings you inflict on me dont discourage me. The whole reason I would spend $500 + dollars to go to Melbourne is to play great smashers like yourself and I'd be very sad if you were not there and so would a lot of other people im sure.

Of course we all have friends outside the smash community. But Im really glad to have known all you other smashers, and as long as the love keeps going around nothing can stop me from flying down.

Sorry if thats a little over emotional but I get upset when people I know are upset.

On another note, accomodation. I have an old boss of mine who im sure would put me up this time, plus my other mate who plays for Essendon now is in Melbourne somewhere plus a few friends of mine are moving to Melbourne in February, but Syke, NG7 and NESSBOUNDER may need other accomodation in addition to the people coming from perth and tassie etc, so hopefully this time it could be organised beforehand in order to avoid a repeat of last time (Five servo stops, late night drivings, lost in the bush etc) I know its hard for you guys to put us all up though and its appreciated.
