You can't really compare fighters to racers. but in general hardcore games go like....

RTS
Fighters
Shmups/FPS (some fps like Quake are exceptions though)

You only get as good at something as you want to be. Calzorz is better than us because he wants it more, so trains more etc etc blah blah

if im going to travel for a game il keep training til i can be the best i can i guess? otherwise i see no point in traveling unless its for social side but i can always be social i just want to win also , good post tho

and i think racing games take skill infact every game does , i dont see how ppl knock kyle for being good on blur saying it doesnt take as much skill as smash when they have no clue

Racing games have competition anyway, if it took no skill everyone would have time trial WRs.

I havent really played on seen blur been played properly, but games like grand turismo and need for speed take much less skill then other game genres, well i cant really say they take less skill, i know they take less skill than fighters, but i dont even know the purpose of blur except racing and winning. But to the games i mentioned there just so simple.

And I don't think shootemups/FPS games are bad, they're just not what I enjoy playing. I'm not really a fan of platforming games (but I'm a huge fan of the crash bandicoot series ... the PS1 ones anyway) and similarly I'm not a fan of RPG's but I've played FF8, 9 and FFX.
