SCSA West Coast Circuit 5 (1/30/10) Results on first page and THANKS FOR COMING

when you get mad and discouraged, soon the situation get really bad then you get even discouraged even more to the point where you dont have to want to play anymore
a good example is when me and jdm lost to TGL and SuperRad at SCSA 4 (how embarrassing) but you know what tho? still played a 100% of our game and went 2-2 baby!

this tournament was a lot of fun, and has spurred me to change my main for the first time in three years. thanks champ, sheridan, nezumi and anyone else who helped ran this.

sheri thats a thought i had a lot too. playing pros and '****** noobs' are two different things. the first step is to not say 'oh this guy sucks i got an easy win.' for me this was people that were actually at around my skill level. until you get good youre not allowed to be a cocky *******, and should treat each opponent as worthy. other than that i dont really know because i never got good at this game lol.

Gsub - Nice job getting out of pools. Try to find your own rides now because my parents are starting to get irritated lol
Ghad - Your Doc is getting better, keep it up. And you also need to start finding your own rides haha
McCain - if you get someone to bring their laptop to the next tourney then I'll bring my recording set-up.
Fly - Honestly, I though double ICs would take teams. I could imagine you guys wobbling the opponents at the same time or something silly like that lol
Socal Sheridan - Random character crew battles are too fun. Is tech-chasing your anti-drug? XD
Norcal Sheridan - Really close set. You probably weren't warmed up since you were running the bracket the whole time. None the less, I'm pretty happy about it lol
Hugo - I didn't know being aggressive against samus was what you were supposed to do. That's the complete opposite of what I used to think haha. Oh and you dress hecka nice =D
Mango - I finally got to play you again. Yaaaaaaaay ^_^
Adam - Fun MM. I hope you come to tournies again. I forgot to ask why you weren't at Pound 4

Spenser - I screwed up a lot in teams. I kept Dsmashing you on accident when clearing the ledge for you and when an enemy got popped up I would go for a Bair or something when you were going for a slap which is better. My bad haha but we'll do better the next time we team =D

Thanks a lot for hosting and running the tournament; I had a lot of fun even though I became incredibly nervous and wanted to throw up for most of it.
Mango: Your playstyle is inspirational to me, and I was glad I got to play you twice this tournament. Good job stomping on me :3
Fly Amanita: Looks like our team didn't work out so well -_- it's unfortunate that both of us started playing a lot better once we got into singles. Maybe we can try again sometime when we're both more on our game. Our IC dittos were pretty interesting, someday we'll be fighting them out IN GRAND FINALS. And everyone will leave the livestream, lol.
Replicate: Thanks for playing against me with Fox for an hour and half during that tourney, it really helped me out
Connor: I'm still really unhappy about our bracket match. I dislike winning because of shenanigans like that. Next time we play, hopefully that doesn't happen.
Zhu: I'm also not happy with how our bracket match ended; you got killed in a stupid way just as you were turning on the heat and making a comeback.
Lucky: Part of the reason I did good against you is because I spent all tournament playing friendlies with Replicate and I'd just fought against Zhu and Mango, both using Fox. I was a lot more prepared this time, so next time we play I'll expect the same of you! I still believe you're a better player than me, so hopefully we fight again soon
Stabbed: Good money match, I'm glad you enjoyed playing against me.
Squid and Spaz: It was lots of fun playing with you guys, you helped me calm down a lot before loser's finals and you both seem to enjoy playing the game. It was fun!
To the people in my pools -- Budda, Kirbyraeg, GSUB, Mart, Replicate, and X -- good games to everybody! I'm pretty sure I didn't leave anybody out.
Everybody else who played friendlies with me--specifically the Ganon player whose name I CAN'T REMEMBER EVEN THOUGH I TOTALLY SHOULD--thanks a bunch, and I hope to see you next time.

this tourney was fun overall, i wished i would have realized it was going to last so late, i got waaaaaay to tired by the end
lucky- we ****, once you died last match i just thought to myself "don't let joey down, you've got this" then you stood up and like halfed walked away, and mango hit me and i DIed it and was like "you're going to get back to the stage and just hit mango once and edge guard" i know you thought it was over but i wasn't ready to give up just yet, i hella wanna team with you OoS but i doubt that'll ever happen... sucks we had to play like that in singles, i'm getting closer though, one day... one day

kouryuu- really good to see you, i was half excited to play you in tourney, sorry i couldn't give you a better 3rd match between suiciding and just getting frustrated and not playing my A game, probably see you in like 2 months next time you decide to go to a tourney, lol

adam- that one crazy combo i got off you was all cause i read whatever it was you did, it made me really happen when you acknowledged it, makes me realize i am kinda gettting better at this game, hope you had fun playing me with all your characters, i was a little scared once you shouted "YES!!!" after finding out you got to play me in losers, guess i'll see you in a few months

I get frustrated when I do the same mistake over and over again. I'm trying to main fox instead of sheik now, because I don't have fun playing sheik [other than I can occasionally beat someone, and that's fun]. Also, I heard you play super gay against sheik and I didn't feel like trying that out.SuperRad: You have anger problems

haha, he just spaces and punishes well! it's very frustrating
best bet is to try sheik anyway, she can deal with most of what puff does pretty well with good aerial spacing, just don't do dumb **** that'll get you rested!~ (like what I did)

Puff became a easy matchup for me. Just get a 25~30% life lead and run away and laser. Make them come to you and wait for their mistake. Use safely spaced nairs to knock them out of range and shoot some more lasers from a distance. Falling up airs and dash dance up smash quick kills. GSub knows all about that.
