not sure when i'm going back for thanksgiving, but maybe tomorrow or early wednesday would work

santa cRUZ, SUP WIT IT
i'm pretty excited to get things going again

things are shaping up pretty big for next quarter
the homie dajuan's gonna be back, and we have a new challenger approaching in the form of ryan raczok aka metameme aka marthpwnzer, who is a chill dude who i look forward to hanging out with

so we're gonna have 4 ranked/rankable players (me sheridan dajuan dave), truman who's kind of in the middle (i.e. he needs to get his *** to some tournaments), and a whole upcoming crop of fresh talent. colin erik and henry have been practicing and they all seem pretty eager, ryan's pretty good from what i remember, and me and sheridan met this guy clayton who lives in santa cruz and goes to cabrillo, so hopefully we can get in contact with him and show him what's up :)

next quarter we should get in on some dope officiated smashfests, on campus or my place or w/e, organize carpools to tournaments (dajuan are you gonna have your car?), and organize our own event at ucsc! WHOO :colorful:

whoa. i missed a lot in a few days. joe, gratz on 3rd. truman, stop reading **** in my voice! sheridan, hey.

ive been trying to pick up a low tier like yoshi or something. vectorman has inspired me. i was considering picking up ness before someone in arizona did. (if it hasnt been done already) but i remembered dan, and he is still a santa cruzian in my heart, so i'll keep that proverbial throne unfilled for him. i dont believe in keeping seats warm. such a creepy thing to do.

also where is pocky sweet dee? for i am in asia as well. though i am lacking a controller at the moment, maybe we can ron day voo? actually that doesnt seem very reasonable because he has no idea who i am even though i am one of his biggest fans, also why would he waste time hanging out with me when he can be hanging out with "not" me.

does anyone want anything from taiwan? i might be able to get my hands on some things. i.e. pineapple cakes, censored porn, cheap beer, betel nut (or areca nut) ((actually probably not that. my parents wouldnt want me to get this, also i dont think anyone should actually do this cuz it seems like the worst drug. as far as i know, it basically does as much as a cup of coffee would do, but is as addictive as chewing tobacco and is 10x more detrimental to your health.)), and if anyone wants me to get them a new controller, let me know where i can get it and i will try my best to find it for you. NOT FOR FREE of course, but i would probably just ask for reimbursement on the price of the controllers/porn. im not looking to profit from these transactions. censored porn/pineapple cakes are on me. provided that you will come get them from me, and that i actually know who you are and vise-a-verse-a.

i have no idea about controllers. but if a white controller is ~$30USD (~912 NT$) there at any stores (and it seems legit Nintendo...) I do want one.

Santa Cruz is so good! New development, I check my email and for some reason they removed $10K of my financial aid, which obviously isn't a good thing. I need to call them on Monday to get this **** fixed.

I'm going to start reading posts in people's voices.

I want to play a lot when I get back from break. I'm really happy with how I'm playing and improving. I can actually play on the weekends now(tournament) that my field class is over.

I'm pretty swamped until the last day of finals it seems. However, I'll probably want a break during the weekend and we can play then.

Or maybe before because I really miss my coffee thermos.

gotta read 2 books and write a paper on it preferably by tuesday, when we present our topics
could hold it off until thursday, but i really would rather get it done because my final paper for romanticism class is due that thursday

I don't really cook much, I have made curry myself (i.e. not from packets) maybe like 4 times. But if this turns out well I may do more. What kind of curry do people like? I'm leaning towards something spicy with lamb. Also no cilantro.

I'll be there tonight. I'm really unmotivated to work today because I've been doing work like crazy last week. Luckily, I've made a lot of progress so I don't feel bad about taking a night off.

so from playasia

1 controller is 33+13 = 46 (50 if in a box)
5 controllers is 33*5 + 47 = 212 (/5 = 42.4)

more would be slightly cheaper, eventually getting down to what i imagine is about 40 per controller. maybe less if we manage to get a ridiculous number. Maybe I should take an open offer from everyone from CGC ....


anyone have any corrections to my numbers? (or better offers?)

friday i think my boy jason is gonna be back in town and i lightweight made plans to hang out with this girl from class, so idk...??

ps i ate all the apricots and the yogurt LOL

whoa guys. im missin the cruz hard core! i can definitely use some santa cruz diner food right about now. (yeah i know its not great food, but the extra money you pay makes it taste better). ive been kinda practicing my cf. i half gave up on yoshi. i learned a few neat things and am convinced that he is actually secret top tier for various reasons. but my cf is... meh. i dont have humans to play vs, so ive pretty much just been practicing various tech and watching youtube videos.
