I've been tasked to inform everyone about a regional/national Super Smash Bros. Brawl tourney happening in Utah!

ah, don't worry about it brian, it happens to everybody once in a while

honestly, a really good way to get around frustration is trying to remove the pressure you put on yourself to perform well

i asked larry and mango about not choking in tournament and they said the best way was to just go about it like you were playing a friendly, and try to "****"

anyways, i just got done with class so i'll head on up there now
no truman, i'm not bringing my TV

yeah, that sounds good.
mostly i think when i havent played for a week or so i tend to think about all this stuff i want to try out, and then when i cant even do the stuff i used to do consistently i get frustrated.

plus, i never feel like i can do anything right when im playing in a 4 man rotation. whenever my turn comes up it feels kinda like i need to warm up and get in a rhythm again, and then the match ends and i have to wait 6-10 minutes to play.

and not pressuring yourself at all is really good. in tourney i always (used to) freeze up and play like a robot
now that im back i just try to do what i want and get a **** combo when i get the chance
a long time ago hugo was talking about how the adrenaline makes you play worse and you gotta just try and make it go away

yeah there's still a lot of interest, but personally i think the apartment lounge is a better location. i'm gonna go rock climbing tonight, so that'd be even better cause we can stay there later

i'll try to hit it hard and get back to campus around 9 or 9:30 for some more play time

I just got back from skiing about half an hour ago. Needless to say rock climbing didn't happen. I skied for 4 days in possibly the best snow I've ever seen.
