Samus Mains

I'd like to know who's actually going to main Samus. Through thick and thin, who's going to use her in all their tournaments because she is their main, even if she might not be their best chance to win.


I'm not trying to take a shot at anyone here, if you don't enjoy playing her any more that is fine, if you 'play to win' that's fine too, but I'd like to know who we can expect to provide the tournament rankings for Samus.


Also, understand that it's still pretty early in the game, so if in time you decide you enjoy playing another character more than Samus that's fine, I don't want anyone to feel obligated to play her because they made a post on this thread or something like that.

I like samus. Though she might not be that great, i can still beat, or come close to beating my friends with her. Granted I cant 3-stock them all the time anymore, which i am quite disappointed about; but now, maybe they will play with me more because it isnt a guaranteed loss. I always had to throw matches before so they wouldn't walk out.

I like her moves, i think they are very usefull, even if they are a little slower to execute now. I also think that if i learn to time everything perfectly, i can still be relatively competitive.

I dont really go to tournaments because i dont know any other people who play locally. I'm too busy to travel to a tournament, and my wifi lags like a mother, so i'm pretty much out of luck in that category.

I love to use fair and dair. Im a little pissed about the missle canceling changes, but i should be able to pick it up with enough practice.

I main her, and I can say with all honesty that she's my best character.

I use Samus as my main, I was pretty confident with her in Melee, so I concentrated with ZS Samus(gotta be good with both), but a few weeks back I noticed that I was going to have to relearn Samus for Brawl and that my Melee skill would not last, anyway, both Samus and ZS Samus are my mains, they both are awesome characters who have very cool movesets, I need to improve mostly with Samus though.

I will always main Samus. She has been my favorite character in the Nintendo series since 1994 when I was nine years old and a friend of mine, Matthew Smith, brought Super Metroid to a daycare I went to. I still have Super Metroid to this very day (thirteen years). This is the very reason why Samus will be my main until the day Nintendo stops producing video games. I don't call myself "Metroid Fan" for nothing!

I've been maining her since first smash game will continue to do the same starting to really like her in brawl too the more I play her.

I am trying to make her my best character, I have certainly devoted more time to her than any of my other mains. I don't really go to tournaments mainly because I never know where to go, but I would probably try to be her if I ever went.

she treated me well in SSB64
she treated me great in SSBM
and so far, she has treated me pretty well in SSBB, to many pessimists around though.

through it all, i have decided to main samus no matter what.

Same as tudor... Always have, always will main Samus... Especially now that she has her Zamus transformation... Way to change strategies in the middle of a brawl! :D (used to main Samus and Shiek in melee... This answered my prayers for Brawl)

I have been thinking of maining her, though at my current stage in brawl I have been switching mains frequently in order to learn everything I can about everyone I can.

I hope to start attending Brawl Tournaments once the summer starts, and my schedule slows down.

Samus has a perfectly good chance of winning against most of the cast. Aside from that, my first favorite Nintendo game ever was Metroid. Samus is the ****.

I main her...no one else even comes close in playtime ^^ but... I'm not sure how many tournaments I can be in...transportation is sucking right now
