hm, i don't know. i've always liked the concept, but it seems unnecessary most of the time, and it takes some time to set it up
for instance, as fox if you cancel the running animation at the edge, roll back, and slanted short hop towards the edge, you'll always ledge cancel. as much as i like it, idk, it doesn't seem efficient

but bair → ledgecancel → dair seems good if you can combo the hits

Personally I like Samus and think she should be one or two places up the tier list, but that just may be because I can't play Luigi for ****. Someone earlier said Samus' bombs are underrated and I agree 100%, if used correctly they can block off multiple movement paths for your enemy, thus limiting their ground options (sometimes air too), as well as stun them so you can run in for the kill. Aside from being very slow in the air, Samus really isn't as bad as everyone says, in my opinion.

Yea that was me ^-^ it's so useful in my opinion, because if an opponent is over aggressive, they can run into the bomb and get punished, sometimes you can add an F-Smash with it too!

Exactly, it helps with stage presence and can help a lot while on the defensive (though it can help on the offensive too). Like you said, they can be very helpful with catching your opponent off guard by running into them as long as you keep them spread out and only drop one when it won't make you too vulnerable.

Also I've found them pretty useful in movement alone, completely ignoring their offensive abilities. It's well-known that they can be used for extra horizontal recovery, but I mean like simple movements on the field. For example, they can be used for very short hops to minimize time spent in the air, like on Peach's Castle if you're on the moving bricks and jump to the middle (lower/solid) platform, you can use a bomb immediately after jumping to cut off the height and stay tucked up against the ground so you don't stick your head above the upper platform if your opponent was up there trying to hit you with a D-Smash or something.

Haha yeah that's a perfect example of how bombs can help with combos/catch your opponents off guard!

I think important basic knowledge and pattern is...

Fsmash -> Ftilt (need little delay and high angle) -> Jab

These can aim many behavior apart from retain Shield.

If this pattern leads to a bad result or too low return, Samus should search more better behavior.

I think aiming opponent move apart from retain Shield is lowest risk and can expect return constantly.
When I want to get higher return, I guess next opponent move.

I started to SSB64 broadcast on the twitch.
Broadcasting is irregular and short time.
I think it is difficult to watch live because Japan and USA have a time difference.
However, Broadcasting keep a week.
Please watch if you like!

Thank you for watching!
I think I will try to speak English and speak to Samus next broadcasting in spite of I'm not good at speaking English, for the purpose of English study.
I think I can hardly speak English, please watch again if you like.

I think Z+A is more convenient than R because Z+A can measure the timing with shield.
So I often use Z+A out of habits.

However, I use grab by R, too.
When I want to grab as soon as I can.
For example, edge guard, tech-chasing, aiming to land motion.

However, in spite of these scenes, I use Z+A when I think nothing.
It is not so meaningful. hehe

Do you know how to make a thread? You can post every time you start streaming. Then people can get notifications of when you start.

Or you can make an announcement on twitter and someone else can make a thread.

Um... I think announcing my broadcast starting doesn't so make sense.
Even if I announce my broadcast start, no one can watch live because sadly I have a time difference.
Even if someone is able to watch live, SSB battle may doesn't start for a long time or battle may end soon.
I search SSBplayer after starting the broadcast.
I often play with only one player in the 1 broadcast.
Incidentally, Twitch has an alarm function.
What do you think about these?

If necessary thread, I will manage to make this.
Actually, I deleted my twitter account.
Because I can't help but watch this.

My English is bad, too.:bee:

My favorite is section 4 (Diamond is unbreakable).
Because I like Kira Yoshikage.

I watched this movie.
Handling Uair is interesting.
It is effective to decrease the risk.

Very good English practice!
I repeated my broadcasting and my English speaking.
It was terrible. haha.
Last broadcast, I wanted to speak spacing against Jigglypuff.
However, it's impossible. Because English is difficuuuuuuult!
I will keep going more, little by little.

i noticed that too with his DI...haha
I figured it out because he had to crouch before every slow fall down air.

If I played on a keyboard, would you give me an adapter too? :denzel:
I'm giving them to the non-english speaking regions because they cant understand english directions and there may be export restrictions on the bbb so they might not even be able to buy them

I don't know we can contact him...
but, keyboard adapter is needed by some Japanese players.
I think publishing how to make adapter is the most happy for ours.
Is it difficult how much?

I heard you talking about using other characters besides Samus for your broadcast. Is that something you are planning to do?
I think that I and lots of other people would be very interested in seeing that.

I often use Samus only.
However, I use DK in last broadcasting.
Because it was twice in a row for my broadcast to play with same Fox player.
Someone say me "Why do you play with same player anytime?"
(I don't remember correctly sentence. I guessed such meaning.)
So I think viewers are bored with Samus, I used DK.

Generally, I have no plan to use other characters besides Samus.
If someone say "I want you to use some character", I'll use it.
Except for when opponent is really good player and I think I want to use Samus only.

I think the stream meant, "Do you often play the same opponent?"...Last time, you also fought Bakon (I can't spell his name :(), yes?

hmm. I see.
I don't often play same opponent.
However, there are times when I play with same opponent by chance.
I often don't make plan.

I am making a new version. It will be very simple and easy to use. I hope to have it finished before I visit Japan again in October / November
That's excellent.
I'm looking forward to it.

It's great that we share some insight with some skilled players from across the world! I'm excited to check out the stream @ Jouske Jouske !
Thank you for watching!
