The MOTHER 3 translation project is moving along pretty darn well, and is slated to be absolutely finished sometime in November.
If you're not against using emulators, then it's definitely something to check out.
I'm typically all for supporting the actual company that made the game, but if there's no other way to play it (In English, that is) then I'm all for it.

Yes im aware of the translation but they are no longer going to be done in Nov. they don't know when they are going to be done now. Since brawl was delayed it may be finished before we get brawl but i wouldnt count on it.

Oh, god, please have the (forgot the name of the suit, so I apologize) Spider Armor from Mother 3 as a boss! That'd be nothing more than awesomeness!

That, and a 3D Pokey.

In your mind!
Great looking stage, My only thing is that, how exactly do you jump with the back of the stage, it does have a hint of the Hyrule temple (look at the bottom). But it is more risky...Looks Great, Good Eye Candy.

Big stages are awesome. i'm really glad they didn't exclude them this time around. This is definately going to be a frequently visited stage for me. I wonder what other large stages Sakurai is hiding behind the curtain.

Great stage and from the pics its hard to tell where all the actual platforms are. But the chimera thing is alright, it wouldn't be my first thought for a board like this but it def. inhibits from sitting and hiding. And WHO IS POKEY? And should I care about him?

Pokey is the fat little pig-faced kid that you can see as a statue in the background. There are also some sprites of him selling balloons.

Do a google/wiki search on "Pokey Minch" to find out the REAL, spoiler-iffic and epic story behind him.

This stage looks pretty bad ***. My brother always hid on Hyrule Temple, now when he hides I can throw him into the chimera.

Offtopic: Nice avatar Mic 128, I wish Weighted Companion Cube would've shared the cake

Stage looks cool, but I'm confused as to why Sakurai didn't release Norfair instead. New stage is fine, but it just would make sense... Not that I'm complaining.

Because if he released Norfair, we'd have to listen to endless whining about how we already know that stage, Sakurai is just gonna waste the next 20 updates on stuff from the gameplay videos, etc etc.

Also:

I think you just took your own advice, Mic :chuckle:

I loved the scale of Hyrule Temple in Melee and New Pork City looks just as awesome especially since it seems to be lacking the underground area that made it a pain to play on sometimes. The Ultimate Chimera definitely looks like an awesome obstacle to deal with while you're exploring definitely can't wait to give this stage a go. I also honestly hope they include at least 1-2 more huge stages as well.

Stage is sexy.

Huge fan of gigantic stages and a Mother fan in general so I know I'll love to play on this stage.
I think something tells me were going to get the music for this stage very soon....
Hopefully in a double update along with Lucas' special moves.

After all, we already know he uses Snake Rope so he might as well announce it officially.

Oh yes, finally a massive stage! And it looks really bright and nice. I can see me and my friends having alot of fun running around on this, and the Chimera will just be an extra laugh. Its a shame I have no knowlage of Mother 3 or Earthbound whatsoever though.. >_<

This stage looks great...It's a lot bigger than it looks in the pic that shows the entire stage. I had to look at the other pics to get a real feel for it.

I really like the dark cloudy atmosphere of this stage, as well as its massiveness. I wonder if there'll be any other stage interaction besides the Chimera. It'd be nice to see the hustle and bustle of the big city while duking it out. ;)

Awesome Stage, sort of reminds me of Fourside, which was my favorite stage in Melee. A Definite Plus!

YES. Just yes. New Pork City's looking great~! They really nailed the "childish amusement park with bleak/messy undertones" look. The Ultimate Chimera roaming around was a very nice touch indeed, though I can see why people would hate it as a stage hazard (instant KO FTW XD). As others have said, maybe you could turn it off by pressing the button on its back... but then again that annoying birdie would just turn it back on. X3

Can't wait to hear this stage's music~.

Well, maybe not stage interactions, more like background distractions. I hope the background isn't just a pretty picture. I'd like to see stuff going on in the city and not just flashy colors. I'm fine with the stage in itself, I just have wishful thinking. ^^
