Okay now Marcus you face colin again. In order to beat colin you have to play 1 set of 5 and win and play another set of 5 and win. The way he has to beat you is only win 1 set of 5.

And not fixed sage, Smash 64 had to drop out and I beat other people fairly with lots of luck. Uffe tripped and Guassis SD two times.... If I won then, i'd be more suspicious...

I'm confused as far as the placements go. Why are there two fives, two sevens and three nines? I don't care what place I landed, it's just got me curious.

It's because there's a tie for those positions. If people were assigned 4/5 etc. it would either be arbitrary or based on some additional games played between them (which hasn't been done). Since the seeding wasn't based on skill, only 1 and 2 actually mean anything though, and that's assuming the better player wins sets in general (and since it's WiFi you can make what you want of that ).

On the standpoint of being able to play against other Ness mains, it was entertaining. But the fun ends about there. This tournament did little for me than to remind me just why I swore to stop Wi-fi play altogether, and focus primarily on tournament play.

It was great to play against Uffe, but I wouldn't enter the next tourney, mainly out of frustration at input lag in a game that requires such precision.

Wow, everyone is complaining about lag. In the matches I had, my input lag was less than a tenth of a second, you could barely notice it at. Anyway, I still have to play Colin for the finals.

Truth is guys about the lag, this is for fun. The lag was present and yes it makes this matches un viable to judgement, but it was all about the fun, if you had fun just losing that is what you want.

This tournament was awesome, as expected. I hope the next one occurs on a weekend when I go home so I can join again! Fighting other humans is definitely better than 3-stocking the CPU for practice.
