Shame you can't come tomorrow luneth. btw i have chess and shogi (japanese chess) at my place. i really need to teach somebody shogi before i forget. i think it's even better than traditional chess. 9x9 board, more individualized strategies and best of all, tactical reinforcements and capturing. oh and also you can upgrade your pieces. so cool.

also, i am going to be at sg on sunday for friendlies. also i really want to play munchkins and starcraft :D

Back in the day, used to be one of the best in SA for my age group (was like year 7 though :s). Don't think I cared enough to find out my ranking, I just beat everyone. I only went to one of those lightning Chess comps once, don't remember how I did.
