It appears that February is a busy month in general for the smash community. While competing with other tournaments is not in our agenda, being consistent is. We unfortunately will not have the staffing on the 14th and it sounds like there is a competition close to the 28th as well. So the question is; do we still run a tourney on the third Saturday of February (as we are aiming to do each month), do we try to accommodate the various other tournaments being held and possibly compete with tournaments in a single weekend or not host a tournament in February?
In the end the answer is doing what is best for the southern Ontario smash scene. That being said, we wish to assist our local brawl community thrive and to support Grmo’s tournament. Pownz would like to help get Hamilton players to Grmo’s event on February 21st.We will arrange car pools for Hamilton players and will offer sign ups for Drivers and Passengers on our forums and at the centre. If Grmo does not object, we can also advertise this event on our forums.
We will reschedule our Feb 21st tournament to Monday February 16th (which is “Family Day”)
