Eh... maybe March 2014... one year anniversary of EarthBound on Wii U Virtual Console in Japan.
The only thing that could top two of my Brawl mains getting announced in the same month would be Jigglypuff.
If Mewtwo gets announced than that will definitely be the most hype building and exciting thing ever for me. First Toon Link, my Brawl most wanted character and main at the end of last month and not too long after my lost Melee main and wanted character Mewtwo coming back? That's just too amazing for words I'm not even sure what I would say if/when I see it happening. Having Mewtwo confirmed would definitely bring my hype over the moon and I don't know what else to wish from Sakurai after giving me these two gifts and so soon as well. I'll probably be set and wait for the release of the game at that time.
And hey, Toon Link and Mewtwo finally together in the same game after the missed opportunity in Brawl? Awesomeness! : D
Also it's good to know that Sakurai knows every Nintendo character, so he may add anyone, even those characters that people don't know of.
I didn't even understand the ramifications of Mewtwo returning. I have been so desensitized to the notion that I completely forgot about how exciting and relevant his reveal would be. He was also one of my mains in Melee. I will admit, he wasn't like a major main. I just used him for fun. All of those memories. Burning out my Gamecube multiple times to unlock him. That is what it is all about. I didn't even think about the implications of his reveal. That would be so great. I would simply be ecstatic. That being said, I actually think that Jigglypuff and Lucario are the more likely reveals. I would love to be proven wrong though. I mean I could wait for the possible confirmation of the likes of Professor Layton and all but I'm not sure how likely they are, so having at least Toon Link and Mewtwo back would be a great gift in its own, I'm not going to be greedy over it.
But yeah, I'll keep my bet on Pokemon Trainer as well for now, but like I said, having Mewtwo revealed instead would definitely not be disappointing for me.

I'm talking about characters for, even though we've done research on like every Nintendo character, we still don't know about them. There is no way it could have any significance if even the most knowledgeable Ninteno fans and Smash speculators don't know them.
How is Sable more deserving than any other retro? He's not popular, he's Japan-only, he's had one game and minimal cameos, and other characters have moveset potential as well.
That doesn't justify adding incredibly unlikely additions.

Let us not even forget that Sora Ltd. already has all of the significant Nintendo characters in this game. I think the focus of Smash 4 is going to be bring back all Brawl veterans and possibly Mewtwo and Roy. I do not think that Sakurai is going to go crazy with Newcomers. ESPECIALLY third party newcomers.

I think we can all agree Mewtwo will return. Roy is more debatable, and I think Chrom can be mentioned in here somewhere.
So go post in those existing threads, don't make threads for decks of cards and system logos.
If Sakurai picked retros based on preference the first one we would've gotten is Mach Rider, that's his favourite.
