Hypothetical situation:
In an attempt to expand Pokemon Trainer without completely changing his Pokemon, if they were to fully evolve Squirtle and Ivysaur into Blastoise and Venusaur, so that the final smash would utilize all 3 mega evolutions, would a fair trade off be getting rid of the fatigue for not being able to switch out except when you're KOed?

Also, this new, black Mega Charizard X is rad and so much better than the other one.

It's funny people say that, considering overall, Mega Charizard Y is really the much better pokemon. Also, A Mega Charizard X taking down a Mewtwo? I don't care if it's Super Mega Ultra Deluxe Turbo Edition Charizard Omega, that ain't happening.

I wouldn't mind that proposition at all. I would actually enjoy it. Like a Jigglypuff's first... back massager.

Something is very wrong here, but I just can't put my finger on it.
Jigglypuff doesn't have fingers to put things on.

Perhaps, but it sure as hell beats what went on for the past few hours right?
Jigglypuff beats anything and everything. Not just horrible Pac-Man debates.

I just meant the design, I haven't seen any of the gameplay.

Well of course, black, blue-flamed charizard beats Orange spiky Charizard. As for their gameplay abilities, Mega Charizard X is basically the new Flareon, it has a boosted attack stat and almost no attacks to back up it's key stat or STAB bonus, not to mention it's still as frail as normal Charizard. Mega Charizard Y on the other hand has a boosted special attack stat and the ability drought, giving it the things it needs to make Charizard a sweeper.

I feel the same way about Mewtwo X.

You learn something new everyday.

And of course Charizard couldn't beat Mewtwo. Do you take me for a common duncebag?

I'm gonna be so bummed if we don't get a Mewtwo reveal next week. Or any time soon. Or at all.

Flareon is garbage,Charizard has a LOT of physical moves (aerial ace, dragon claw, earthquake, shadow claw, flare blitz ,etc) and dragon dance.

Well it is practically the same situation, why would you want to use a Mewtwo who has a stat boost in a category it has almost no moves for over a Mewtwo that has an even higher special attack stat than the previous Mewtwo, which is scary to think about considering it's basically a fast White Kyurem, who already has a move-pool attributed to this stat? In short...I think X version is getting the short end of the stick...

Would you be opposed to a Jigglypuff reveal as an alternative?

as a competitive player, this is entirely untrue. Charizard has an amazing physical move pool with access to both flare blitz and outrage, which have perfect coverage for each other. He also has dragon dance to boost his stats, another really good move. The comparison to Flareon is laughable. And the other charizard still has a huge weakness to stealth rock, even more than Ninetales, who might (depends on the meta) still outclass it. Lastly, there is a rumor going around that weather abilities got nerfed (now only last 5 turns, this is rumor though). I usually lurk but your comparison was really wrong.

I said attributed to STAB, which is only Flare Blitz and Fire Fang. Dragon Claw and Shadow Claw need a Move tutor to be learned and Charizard cannot naturally learn Earthquake. Charizard is also frail, and Flareon can take more special hits than Charizard can.

It only has Flare Blitz and Fire Fang in its normal move-pool, and it cannot naturally learn Outrage. Not to mention a small boost to an already wimpy 84 attack stat is nothing to be proud of. Also, Drought is an ability that lasts for the entire battle unless changed. Why are we even talking about this? As if Charizard would ever be taken seriously enough to use competitively anyways. XD

I never said you did, it's just the way Pokemon Origins portrayed Mega Charizard X against Mewtwo, which in short, with its still weak defensive stats and still overall mediocre stats, would've been a smear on the wall against a normal Mewtwo, or any Mewtwo for that matter.

Wait, really? I gotta go find that.
And it was all sarcasm between one Mewtwo fan to another.

Vets who weren't cut.
We got Toon Link and Sonic before Yoshi and Zelda. You really think he's gonna rent out the Super Dome for Mewtwo's reveal?

Yeah I do, If anything the reveals so far should indicate he's working on the brawl cast already so Mewtwo being at e3 isn't a stretch.

Like I dont even know what to say. The things your saying... Have you played competive pokemon? We all know charizard is a bad pokemon now. we were talking about his mega version. His Mega version X is Fire/Dragon. Outrage would be stab for him. So is Flare Blitz. also special access? its a freaking egg move. So is dragon dance. Dragon claw is a tm, not a freaking move tutor move (and even if it was, so what? That makes no difference in competitive pokemon). Its been confirmed that Mega Charizard X Has an increased attack stat. why would you even bring up fire fang? you don't run multiple moves of the same type in competitive pokemon (except of a special circumstance). chaizard learns earthquake through a tm. These are very easy to get. His physical movepool is absolutely amazing, especially as a fire dragon. Here are the sources: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/006.shtml, http://www.pokemonxy.com/en-us/pokemon/mega_pokemon/. Actual Quote from the Official Pokemon website "Charizard's attack increases Significantly when it mega evolves into Mega Charizard X"

I don't know why, but I think/hope Jigglypuff is revealed.
I honestly would welcome a Jigglypuff reveal, but it would kind of make sense wouldn't it? Based on what we've been given so far? We're getting so hyped up for an awesome Pokemon reveal, but what's Sakurai gonna do? He'll give us the greatest Pokemon of all time...

King Dedede. Or like Sheik or something.

His comparison was to flareon, a pokemon who's best move is fire fang. Not even saying Charizard is going to be amazing, just that his comparison was really bad. Fear not fellow competitive player, rumor has it that neutral damage on stealth rock has been nerfed! from 12.5% to 10%! this is rumor though.

Sakurai would be insane to not reveal a Pokemon... then again... maybe he is insane. I am still in the Jigglypuff camp though. I wouldn't mind a Mewtwo/Pokemon Trainer/Lucario reveal. I would obviously prefer our favorite little pink balloon Pokemon gets revealed.

Competitive Pokemon Mumbo-Jumbo
TL;DR, I don't care for competitive Pokemon, I play the games to enjoy the games, not build teams built on IVs and EVs.

Edit: Why would I want to play Competitive Pokemon when you see people continuously using the same strategies and the same sets of pokemon? It gets boring (Yes, I've played competitively before, but I stopped caring after a while)

I would hope we have most of the roster by E3 and the only big Smash related news they're putting out is "HEY! It'll be in stores in 6 weeks! Give or take a few! Go to the floor and play as your favorite character!

I don't really EV/IV train either. I tried so hard to make the perfect Gengar. Hours upon hours wasted for a slightly above average Gengar. Haha.

I can touch the Ocean from here.
I honestly think Lucario is next to be revealed.

This is my bet as well. If not, Pokemon Trainer is my next bet.

Also, I am certain Mewtwo will not be revealed nonchalantly. He is going to get a trailer, if he's not a secret unlockable character. But I think all newcomers will get a "video" in the game? He will get one too. I'm am sure of it.
