The Ridley dilemma only started because of Pyrosphere's reveal, and one of Sakurai's quotes. But I guess some people are naive into thinking that Ridley is a stage hazard when he hasn't even shown his face yet. For all we know, Pyrosphere may just be another Brinstar or Norfair.

I don't think Sakurai meant for the Pyroshpere quote to be a tease or a hint. It was probably just an unimportant comment about the stage itself.

He knows how badly people want Ridley, that's why he was a boss in the last game. Ofc, back then it wasn't a tease, probably just him compensating for the fact that he wouldn't be playable for w/e reason.
It's obvious he meant Ridley with that quote.

Naive? Try more that they let the blind hate of others get to them, stringing along and pretending to hate the character with said same passion as the original person, who in turn, also knew very little about what he hated, why he hated it, and why others should hate it too. It's that people are gullible, not naive. Although, the original person who started said hate could be classified as naive to the current situation.
Sorry, I'm just very bored and I'd rather talk about something other than people honestly wanting Ganondorf to stay the same.

I would be displeased, to a considerable degree. Not so much because it's Jigglypuff being announced (I do not mind her in the least), but because it's Mewtwo not being announced. If any substantial life-force is going to supply the prodigious hype-machine of both Pokemon X and Y and Super Smash Brothers 4 with awe-inspiring excitement, then it's undoubtedly Mewtwo.

I think Smash Boards has a lot of people that get snippy about different opinions, but you're stating your opinions as fact and they are extremely hypocritical considering your roster has Impa and 2 Namco Characters.Sorry..... This thread is old. We have to wait for new things to talk about.
Unless we wanna talk about this guy getting rebooted and added to smash as a last minute semi-clone. He could replace PK Freeze with PK BrainShock and replace PK Fire with PK Beam. Then just give his design a few tweaks.

People don't have to have the same opinion. I mean, for example, my obsession with Ashley from WarioWare. I'd rather have Ashley, while say someone like pizzadudemanguy would rather have Mona or Jimmy T. I respect his choice, he respects mine (at least I think he does).
Or even say Dixie Kong. I find her more likely and even have a little soft spot for her, more than K. Rool. I think K. Rool deserves it more, but I find Dixie more likely and I actually like her more. It's all opinion, people don't **** on me for choosing Dixie over K. Rool.

Well, Mewtwo is basically the titlecard Pokémon for X and Y, so he will indefinitely be used to advertise the game. He is the most likely and requested "newcomer".
Mother doesn't need/deserve 3 reps.I hope there is room for him. There's always that off chance we don't get him.

Because we already have a set mindset that we will get a character in the coming week, and all we can say is "It's gonna be blank" or "It's going to be blank". Thankfully the past couple of days in this thread have been unusually quiet and peaceful.

get over it, Noah, just get over it. Earthbound is nothing more than a small-time niche series. It's not popular enough to get character requests, it's not important enough to Nintendo history, it's not relevant enough like Fire Emblem or Tales series, and ist's not big enough to have more reps than Metroid, Donkey Kong and F-Zero.
Their lucky enough to have just ONE rep.
