- ROB is a robot remember? Robots are known to have jetpacks and lasers and you're trying to tell me making a move set for a drawing of a square with eyes is the same as making a move set for a ROBOT!? Bad example...........................I mean.............REALLY bad example.
- Why should Diskun use NES accesories as his moves, if ROB didn't then what makes you think Diskun will? If there was a character that did that it'd probably be like a Nintendo version of "Ages" from Sega Racing.
- "Diskun is the perfect character to represent the classic Japanese-only famicom titles that aren't represented in Smash Bros" Are you implying Diskun would have a move from every Famicom game? Why? That doesn't make sense considering he wasn't in the games. Look, all he did was show up on the top left corner of instruction manuals, that's not even comparable to ROB & Mr. Game & Watch
- Why is the awesomeness of rewritable floppy disks a reason to add Diskun as a playable character?
No it actually doesn't because Mr. Game & Watch actually DID these things, Diskun didn't.
R.O.B. was never in a game, he was a hardware associated with the game. Also, Diskun is more than a square, in fact, I'm not sure what he is exactly. R.O.B. didn't use accessories because of generic robotness remember? (Yes I know Robotness is not a word) And again, he uses accessories associated to the hardware because he's supposed to be the mascot of the hardware that runs the Famicom, he is what makes the game come to life in a sense of speaking. And once again, Diskun can do whatever Sakurai wants him to do, it'd be far from the first time that he's had to create Source Material for characters.
And no, he wouldn't have a move from every Famicom game, just a few of the more popular ones that aren't represented in Smash already. And the rewritable floppy discs add to Diskun because it allows for him to incorporate new moves into his fighting style, or possibly multiple fighting styles into one single style of overall play. The thing is basically the God of the Famicom so to speak, not so in the sense that it's high and mighty, but it's like it's supposed to be the one that creates the images on screen.
And all Mr. Game & Watch ever really did was fall out of flaming buildings into ambulances, the other characters of Game & Watch did their own things. And yes, while Mr. Game & Watch is an avatar with a moveset composed of all said games, it still wasn't really him doing said things and his character was mainly inspired by the Fire civilian model from Fire, as shown in his Melee trophy.
