You know, I would love Sora in Smash SO MUCH BECAUSE I LOVE KINGDOM HEARTS. But it ain't happening. Disney is one thing: he's not very iconic from a "legendary" standpoint, he's barely relevant to Nintendo (only two games which he starred in on a handheld isn't all that great), and the chance of getting even more third parties than Capcom, Konami, and Sega are astronomically low.
But I would be there with open arms if he is included in the game. I'd probably have a heart attack and a seizure... and a stroke... a coma.... and then cry when I wake up because he's in the game.
I could see Dixie being a Diddy semi-clone at best. I do believe that she can have completely unique specials involving her hair twirls and bubblegum chewing.
King K. Rool's popularity is something that no other newcomer has though. Mewtwo, Roy and King K. Rool are the three characters that are the most wanted in virtually every area of the world. Kinda seems like beating K. Rool in a popularity race is like trying to outrun a cheetah.

Isn't K.Rool also kicking Dixie's ass in polls right now? The last time I saw a Japanese Poll a few months back, K.Rool was like #3 or #2, he's wanted by practically both sides of the world. I also like how some people say that recency isn't an argument, but it's one of the main ones used for Dixie's inclusion.

Zelda/Sheik (Unless ((impossible though)) we have in case scenario it's Zelda/Impa)
or Pokemon Trainer.
or Ness to promote Earthbound a little more.
Lowest priority:
Obviously any of the unlockable characters could be the lowest priority aside from third parties because they usually revealed early.

-Assuming Mii isn't the only customizable character but everyone else is, I moved Mii to the casual column.-Dr. Kawashima is still there, we all know now the real life problem is not an issue.-Removed Nintendog, based on FinalStarmen's opinion (Real good opinion).-Shulk is there for a character Operation Rainfall people would like to play as.-Little Mac, Palutena, Takamaru, Pac-Man, and Mewtwo are there for obvious reasons yall know about.-I managed to fit Isaac and Starfy in there as the only new second parties.-Nintendouji is the WTF historical character to represent Hanafuda.Is this good?

The main reason why King K. Rool is probably more popular then Dixie Kong (especially outside of Japan) is probably because the character contrasts more, which might be a silly reason but inherently people do like diversity and want to go for the options that sounds more appealing for the sake of being broad and versatile.

I can get behind K Rool but I really don't want Dixie... At all. This is just an extremely biased opinion but Diddy with hair does not a great smash character make. It's pretty obvious Dixie would be a semi-clone if she makes it in any way and I really don't think fighting with hair is that innovative character smash needs.

Well, I also think a lot of people view K.Rool as more important to the series as well, so that may be the bigger reason.
Not to mention that a brown-furred monkey with a prehensile blonde ponytail is really kind of creepy...

I think there are some model or texture edits of Ness that would make him resemble Ninten on Brawl Vault, but I'm not sure.

Well, could argue that King K. Rool and Dixie Kong are more or less on par with each other at this point in terms of importance at this point. But, again, people do inherently go with contrast due to wanting to be a broad as possible. It's better in general to explore new things instead of relying on old tricks, both applying to the individual franchises and the whole big picture.

Well, it wouldn't be that hard. They can easily make a unique moveset for her, with her hair and possible bongo drums. Unlikely, as it would just be easier to make her a slower, more versatile version of Diddy.

So somebody mentioned a second Punch-Out!! rep? I think that King Hippo or Bald Bull would be the likely ones included after Mac(albeit not that likely). If we're talking personal bias though, I'd go for Doc Louis any day of the week.

From what I have read, you did not understand not comprehended the character I was refferin to in my post. It seems as if your brain could not process my witty, charming sense of humor. In case you would like to know, I was referring to the character Goku, the Saiyan from the Best-Selling anime/manga Dragon Ball. This comment was an example of a mark of humor, as Goku is not eligible from Super Smash Brothers, being that he is not a video game nor Nintendo character.
