3rd party inclusions were very fishy pre-Brawl, we had no idea how many they'd pick. I personally didn't care much back then and would rather see no other 3rd parties than Snake, and sure enough that was the inital plan.'OF COARSE THEY GONNA PICK BOMBERMAN!'

At the very least, I never argued she was / is more likely than the likes of say.. Little Mac. Diddy was after the Brawl trailer pretty much the likeliest character. Even though SAWNICK fans especially disagreed.

Gonna have to disagree with you for that one. Overhead throws, underhead throws, arm-swinging throws, chest passing, thrown like a rock, thrown like a baseball, thrown while spinning, held bombs turning huge... Then there's the entire spectrum of ways to bomb someone without throwing it, like kicking across the floor, kicking it diagonally, dropping it below, shooting it out a weapon, using it to propel yourself into the air, laying mines--jesus, the list goes on. Aside from omnidirectional slashing, stabbing, and spinning, all swords are essentially identical in terms of how their purpose is to cut and puncture via being swung with the arm.
Even after Sakurai said he might add one or two more third-party characters after Snake in Brawl, people still wanted dozens of third-party characters and anime characters (and they don't even count) in Brawl.

1. Tingle simply can't get in over Toon Link. Clone or no clone1. I add Tingle because of the simple reason that even if Toon Link will get again in Smash he will probably retain his moveset and will not receive the same treatment as Luigi to be more different than his counterpart, making him again a clone and I choose Tingle for the simple reason that he has starred his own games and appeared in the most recent games of Zelda.
2. Nope is personal preference.
3. You say mistake, I say "Lucario can su.... my ......" (by the way I love Lucario, he is one of my favorite pokemon but if I add one more pokemon rep it will unbalance the whole roster especially because it will have over representation, more slots than Mario and Zelda series) And I think Mewtwo is getting more importance this time around than Lucario, I don´t see they will cut PKM Trainer or Jigglypuff (for the simple reason of the gimmick of PKM Trainer and the easy implementation of Jigglypuff that has save his life more than once of being cut off from the series).
4. So, I don´t see Sakurai removing Sonic nor Snake and Namco is working on Smash (not a big deal for me).
5. Why should I replace Mach Rider with Takamaru (yeah I know that Takamaru has been showed more in these recent years with Nintendo Land and Captain Rainbow, but still I will wait until he gets a brand new game, until then both of them have the same chances).
6. Shulk is one of the most important characters right now from Nintendo, Xenoblade Chronicles was a mayor success on the Wii, it can represent the union between Monolith Soft with Nintendo and let me get this straight Shulk > Isaac (yeah deal with that, for the simple reason that Xenoblade has a edge over Golden Sun with the next game of Monolith Soft called X on the WiiU, if Golden Sun will have a next installment on the 3DS or WiiU I will rate higher Isaac but until there is evidence of something like that, I will stick with Shulk).
7. Because Harry represent a new series, I f... hate that Fox, Falco and Wolf have almost the same moveset wise and not only that you can leave Harry alone he didn´t take the space of Wolf, the character that take that space is King. K. Rool, Ridley or if you want Palutena.

1. We don't need 4 DK reps OR Fire Emblem reps. Leave room for new franchises and franchises that need extra representation more.

I think through each installment, Samus is getting better and better (although a considerable drop from Melee to Brawl). I don't really know WHO I'll be maining this time around (probably Mega Man or Little Mac just cuz), but there are many characters I usually don't play as that look like they can be serious contenders.

See, I'm absolutely completely stumped.
Melee players will complain that it's still too slow, while Brawl players will complain that it's too fast.
Melee fanboys ALWAYS find something to complain about, no matter how much the mechanics of their game continue to feel weak and outdated, they'll always think of it as superiority.
And I love how nobody ever brings up Smash 64.
