I'd probably do the same if Prince Sable was confirmed.I still do advocate strongly for him, I'm just a bit more reserved with it, as to not pester others, haha. If he ever were to be confirmed playable, the amount of gifs I would post alone would crash the site.
Hmm.. Duck Hunt Dog or Balloon Fighter (Even if Villager has the balloons) really.

I really like this roster, it has all the characters that are truly desirable by a majority of the fanbase without going overboard with representation. It's fresh, it's balanced? And Zoroark, Krystal and Mach Rider for DLC? Gimme Gimme! The only thing I can add is that you should add Aeron from Pandora's Tower to the DLC selection, as then we'd have a representative of all the Rainfall games.
Ignoring the ugly *** font, here's take 2 of the roster plus DLC.
Changes: Demoted Dixie Kong to DLC since many suggest that 2 DK newcomers in the main roster is ridiculous, Re-added Ice Climbers since Olimar in the 3DS version is proof enough that Sakurai would have no problem with them, re-added Toon Link since many hated the idea of Classic Link in general, cut Masked Man DLC since many don't think Mother deserves more representation, Re-added Lucario since he's relevant again thanks to the Mega Forms, demoted Zoroark to DLC for obvious reasons, and re-updated everyone's portraits. I was going to replace Ridley with Dark Samus, but many suggested that Ridley is more All Star material than a Phazon ripoff and suggested that I should give up on him too soon. Decided to keep Junior since characters like Toad, Waluigi (He's still DLC), and Daisy are notorious for their massive amount of haters and Paper Mario isn't just worth it at all. Kept Pacster since despite Sakurai saying that he's not adding Namco characters, I think he's got a decent shot since Namco is trying their best to keep him relevant with a new game and a show (which is underrated due to its haters). Isaac is there because he's the best character to rep the Game Boy Advance era and I'm actually starting to enjoy his games while Shulk's chilling due to my love of Xenoblade. The main reason why the main roster is 48 as opposed to 50 is because I'd highly doubt Sakurai has the man power to reach such a number and the 3DS can't handle something that big.
Well it isn't like Sakurai hasn't made strange characters work.
Probably the same way Mr. Hanafuda would work.

It's good to see that the legendary FeliciaFan loves my roster and I have been seeing all of your videos lately, especially the one that bashes a certain Ridley non-beleiver.
I originally had his Upward B as PK teleport, a move that blasts you without having to control thunder, but I thought it was unrealistic to give Ninten more distinction from Ness than Lucas. I disagree that Porky has to be over Ninten and I think Dixie is more important than K. Rool.

I can tell you one thing that would happen...hilarity...pure utter hilarity. Judging by the things he says, he's never spoken or discussed Smash Bros with people like us...I think he'd be running away after an hour once he realizes "Big as ****" is not an argument. We're talking about someone who wanted to take out Dedede and Sonic, and put in Travis Touchdown and Lloyd Irving as the new third party characters. Oh, and he also says he wants more villains...when brushing off the two biggest ones Nintendo has that haven't been playable yet. He'd either smarten up, or he'd snap and run, and seeing his personality, the latter is MUCH more likely.
I don't see them as Gen 1 reps, they're overall franchise reps. Pikachu has moves to represent different generations, especially with his final Smash, Volt Tackle, that wasn't available until Generation 3. Jigglypuff will use most likely fair type moves, meaning it's still representing current affairs, the Pokemon Trainer and his pokemon are both really big right now, as he has a new anime about him and his pokemon all have Mega Evolutions, so it's current. Mewtwo alone represents so much, and is basically the poster boy of Gen 6, and Lucario is still important thanks to his role as a TV show mascot, still being advertised, and although this means less as more and more pokemon are getting these forms, a Mega Forme, one of the first revealed next to Mewtwo's, which is in a Movie role. PS: Mega Mewtwo Y has a Special Attack and Speed boost...be thankful that thing is banned.
Having mostly gen 1 is perfectly fine. Having all gen 1 is not. It's ridiculous to assume Sakurai would do that. I think we all are okay with him doing that so we convince ourselves that he is okay with it too.

What makes you think he'd listen to me? I'm probably one of the last people he'd accept the invitation from as I'm one of the main people that helped turn him into a laughing stock.

Actually that was just Melee and it was probably because Lucas was the newest one. I don't see how this serves any relevance to Ninten being unlikely as Ness has never risked removal based on time constraints as far as we know, we can only assume that wasn't the case since the term "replaced" was used. Sakurai clearly didn't want to replace Ness in Brawl.
