Over all, not too bad. I'll take it row by row.

Row 1: Fantastic Row!
Row 2: Fantastic Row!
Row 3: Pretty good! It's sad to see Ivysaur and Squirtle go, since Bulbasaur was my very first Pokemon back in the day...and the lack of K. Rool's a bit saddening. Any reasons for Dixie over K. Rool? Props for Tiki. :3
Row 4: Pretty damn good as well! Though no Lucas is a bit sad. And the fact that Lip, Takamaru, and Mach Rider all made it in while Muddy was left in the dust.

Over all, I could like this roster. The only things that really irk me are no Lucario, Dixie over K. Rool, and the change in Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon. And while I'd normally not like the idea of a third FE character that isn't Roy or Chrom, Tiki is an interesting, but unexpected, choice that would be worthwhile, so I approve.

I'd give it a B+.

The only way Lucario would make it in is by getting in over Mewtwo or Jiggs and Jiggs falls under the adorable section, soooooooooo if you want I could replace Mewtwo with Lucario. :L

I just find Dixe more likely in all honesty. She can offer jsut as much uniqueness as KKR and she was planned for a past Smash game (or was it 2? I forget) and even has recency on her side, which yes I know recency isn't the end all be all thing it adds up with other stuff. Plus most people go with KKR over Dixie anyway, I gotta be one of the odd ones out. :L

As for Pokemon Trainer, it's something different from everyone else and pleases those people who complain about gen 1 being over repped to much, not to emtnion that a multi gen PT is jsut a better idea then a single gen PT. :L

Also you ride a plane in Pilot Wings Stage.

I wonder if Sakurai will add Pilot Wings as another unexpected unique fighter. I hope not, but it wouldn't be too bad.

I think the Pilotwings stage is just a nod to those games and nothing more. The level looks like its designed similar to the starfox stage in melee, where the camera faces the front of the great fox ship and there is an x pattern with the platforms with flies around pilotwings areas.

Pilotwings was pretty major on the SNES and N64, and with a game on the 3DS as well, its certainly not dead. That being said, this is probably a good way to show off pilotwings as a series.

I would also like to see a rocketbelt item that can be used either to fly around for a short time, or could be launched at an opponent for damage

Ah Skype, I miss being able to get on there. I really need to get my own effing laptop so I cna finally download it but that requires money which I do not have. God I need a job so bad. Stupid effin imo (it's the name of the site that use to let me get on Skype without having to download it and it being browser based instead, but they lost server contact with it and ever since they haven't reconnected). -_- I wonder if there is another site like imo that will allow me to do that. :/

I don't really care much for Toad but I admittedly like him more than others. The fact you have those two (BJ and Paper mArio) listed as alternative choices along with Roy as well is neat. It's certainly a good roster. Sure, it might be playing it safe a but, but it's still cool in my book.

Yeah, but I was trying to make the roster look different then the regular good roster. Plus, I prefer Lyn, since she is the first Western Lord, and even was a AT.

I really want lyn, she deserves in extremely but I would be really surprised if she got in, It feels like most of her fans have just scattered...

Nothing wrong except 4 Third-Parties, and I would personally pick between Shulk or Issac. I don't see both franchises getting in. Maybe replace one with Starfy.

So today's update was my favorite update so far. That stage looks BEAUTIFUL. Wonder how many PW islands we'll get to see from that plane.

Anyway, it just so happens that yesterday I wanted to come up with a move for a PilotWings character (because I see a lot of people going around saying that the game is just about planes)

And... as egocentric as it may sound... I kinda fell in love with my own idea.
But any Gatchaman/War of the Planets fan out there might understand me a little, lol

FOR GOOSE mainly (or any other Pilotwings character)

(this is Hooter, btw, it's just that there aren't any proper images about PW characters with wings... so this will do)


Goose would be ALL about recovery over agressiveness.
His playstyle is not a powerhouse-type character. And he's as light as Luigi.
His attack style is about gimping opponents. Getting them off the stage, and destroying them there.
His only fierce attacks are pretty slow.

NORMALS
A: Kick, kick, kick
Atilt: Double jump kick
Adown: Sweep kick
Aup: Flip (flash) kick

JUMPS:
Multiple Jump: 3 jumps (flaps bird-like wings)
Glide: Yes, either uses a glider, or the bird wings, and kicks at the end of the glide.

SMASH ATTACKS
Fsmash: Double winged flap smash (This flap attack is fairlly powerful, and has WIND properties)
Usmash: Uppercut slicers (Wings slash opponents consecutively. Damage racker)
Dsmash: Double winged ground sweep (similar to Peach's Dsmash, except it hits AWAY)

AERIALS
Nair: Bird spin
Dair: Double stomp (spikes with both boots)
Uair: Flap headbutt (with a big flap of wings, Goose hits with the head, gains a little distance upward, but falls twice the distance risen)
Fair: Wing slice (vertical) ((slow, but great hitbox))
Bair: Wing slice (horizontal) ((fast, but slim hitbox))

OTHER
Dash Attack: Wing dance (Goose spins around with his bird wings slicing as he advances)
Grab: Grabs with hand, knees in the gut to attack
Grab UP: Flies up and slams opponent back down, like Seismic Toss
Grab DOWN: Tosses opponent on floor, and performs a series of multi kicks.
Grab SIDES: Kicks away.

SPECIALS
B: Rocket Belt
>This move works as a recovery (similar to ROB's Brawl up+special), but the thrusters burn opponents behind or below you.

Bup: Cannon Shot
>Goose gets inside a big cannon, and as long as you hold UP+B the cannon will increase the angle at where it's aiming. (Starting at 30°, finishing at 90°) Goose ramming into opponents after being fired damages them.

Bdown: Parachute
>This move would work like Game & Watch's Nair in Melee, and would also grant you super slow falling like Peach's Up+B. This move however does NOT give you extra altitude, but is great for covering long horizontal distances while falling. (Only damages the second it opens)

Btilt: Penguin dive
>Goose lets go of a Penguin which the player can control its free fall angle drop, until Btilt is pressed again. The Penguin can be struck away like the Waddle Dees. Upon landing on the ground, the penguins will just walk around and do nothing, before disappearing. Sometimes they might steal an item.


FINAL SMASH: Apache raid (Goose jumps into an Apache helicopter and he can start shooting at characters. It's kind of like an air-only Landmaster that can't squash opponents)


Inspired the moveset mostly on how birds attack... and a bit of

I'm on the minority that believe that a PW stage could mean a PW character.. Because this stage is "HOLY JEEZE, would it be a waste not to have a character go with it" kinda beautiful.

Not to mention that since Wuhu Island is right there on the background... it might mean that there could be several other PW islands around (PW 64 perhaps?), and this stage covers its entire history. MEANING that my initial worry that it was just a SNES stage is vanished... Now it could be represented with a PW64 character after all.

Besides... I don't think we have an N64 exclusive character so far. Might be a good, legit, and successful franchise to start with.

They are remaking Melee, they are just adding new characters and stages and all kinds of things. And you can play it on 3DS & Wii U

Well, that'd be dumb. That would make Sheik as part of another character even more of an inconvenience. It'd be weird like making Raichu part of a Pokemon Trainer. It's completely unnecessary.

Zelda and Sheik. Just make it work. Sheik is perfect. Give Zelda more mobility. She can't suck in everything involving moving. Have transformations also be attacks.

I don't see Lip or Mach Rider. Cassic Linkead of Toon Link, when you already have the other 2 toons). Toon Ganondorf without Ganondorf. No SE 3rd party rep. Ice Climbers dodn't get a new rep. No 3rd Metroid rep. Tis very lacking. I am dissapointed. I expected better from you. D:
