I'm surprised nobody wants to talk Mother 4 The Fan Game. Am I really the only who's excited to see Travis in action... even if it's only a fan game to the Mother series?

Eh I'm just not interested in the series. I've done enough looking up on the games to know they aren't my type of games, despite thems being RPGs which is like my fave game genre ever. So tis quite natural the fan made game doesn't intrest me either.

Speaking of RPG's, I don't think we ever got to finish our conversation on .hack.
Perhaps if they released //Link English subbed at least, you'd get the chance to see the series through from the beginning of the story with Aura and The World to Haseo and the Epitaph avatars. Sure, you kinda mess up the story a little by playing a character that wasn't supposed to be there (Tokio) but it's not like the villains are really much different.
Out of convenience to the subject- I'll post the English patch pieces of //Link that's currently available

Well some of the humor I find iffy on EB/Mo2 honestly.But in the end it doesn't matter how amazing a story is if there are enough things to make me queasy, and from what I have heard/read the stories in the games are suppose to very good. But in the end there are jsut to many things put into the games that jsut make go queasy/meh that pretty much make me lose all intrest. :/

As for .Hack, I'll se if I can find myself a copy of the first game on the PS2 and see how queasy it makes, but it's gonna be a low priority for like if I can find it when I go on a long trip so I have something to keep me occupied during the trip, ofc it can only keep me occupied so much if it ends up with me not liking certain things lol.

There isn't a need for that many playable Starfox characters...

Cranky is important to the DK franchise, as are Peppy and Slippy to Starfox, but none of them could bring that much into Smash, DIxie K. Rool and Krystal all have more potential, and are more requested.

I know that but I just brought them up to show that SF has alot more important reoccuring characters to choose from than DK does.

cranky may be important but he is not nearly as wanted as slippy or peppy.

I'm holding myself off from buying a Wii U until Wind Waker HD releases, but all this talk of how good Pikmin 3 is is making me want to get one even sooner! Goddammit Smashboards, you're so tempting to my thoughts! Speaking of which, after all the Galaxy I've been playing, I think this game would look absolutely beautiful in an HD release.

Star Fox IS now Smash Bros. It's no longer it's own series. Nobody worth a damn wants to work on Star Fox while everybody loves Fox, Falco, Krystal, and Wolf for Smash. Seriously. And one of those Star Fox characters always makes it to at least a good tier too.

There's actually never been such thing as a low tier Starfox character, not even Fox in Brawl, who was the lowest of the three, was that low, only being around 14-16.

I'd take any character focused argument, no matter how stupid or random, over an argument focusing on a user.

It's kind of a stupid comparison but it is sort of sad that one of nintendo's biggest franchises only gets one rep when one with 3 games when only one of which was actual released to the US got 2 XD but that's more of a reason to add Ridley not cut Lucas.

It's quite obvious that Metroid is easily the bigger and more popular franchise, but the way it's been negated for so long is probably because it's not only a game based around isolation, but the fact that Metroid isn't that big in Japan as it is over here. However, we're four games in now, and if this game turns out to only have Samus, we have a really big problem. Metroid is the only franchise that has deserved characters since melee that has yet to actually get any. To not give Metroid characters now would just feel like a giant middle finger to the franchise.

Both, easily both. When I'm away from the TV, gotta get my Smash fix on the go. And considering another year of College is starting soon, I might as well get prepped and get ready for another year of long classes but super-fun times in the dorms with 4 player Brawls.

3DS. I don't have money right now for a Wii U. Which sucks since I really want Pikmin, DK, Wind Waker, and soon Zelda Wii U.

But I have a 3DS now, so I'll just get that. It is basically the same thing, right?

Both. I'm about to pre-order both copies and pay them off fully in a few days.

Honestly, maybe not Sakurai, but at least some of the artists and maybe some of the programmer's that worked on Kid Icarus Uprising should. Maybe, just maybe, Star Fox can fit on the 3DS.
