Mega-skan confirmed as new duo characters. In this case you control Mega-Babyskan, and Mama-skan runs after you trying to protect you.

"One of THE most?" No. Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man, and Pikachu are some THE most recognizable video game characters. They're in a different league than Bomberman. Golden may be being a little harsh with his comparison, but you're showing a very clear bias. It's an understandable bias since Bomberman has some pretty good games under his belt, but still a bias. Not saying that there aren't plenty of people who wold recognize him, but comparing him to some of actual "most recognizable video game characters" like the ones I mentioned is ludicrous.

Oh, jeeze. Are we doing that stupid "None of it would have hapened bull ****" again? Just because Demise's role involves the existence of Link story wise doesn't mean he deserves ****. Demise is not a main or recurring character in Zelda and nobody cares about him so he doesn't deserve anything. Kamek kidnapping the babies doesn't earn her anything.

Then you clearly have not googled him, I've shown no bias so far. I've only heard bias from others who don't care for Bomberman as much as others.

Sure, he's seen as a classic video game character by some, but you're overestimating his importance.

Konami has had a hand in Bomberman games for quite a while. Don't see what makes him dead, he's about as dead as Mega Man. Both of their last games were in 2010 and both were planned to be on 3DS

There's a big difference there...Mega Man was by and large the most requested third party for SSB4. Bomberman barely has any compared to what Mega Man had.

Except Mega Man is still appearing in games and has had planned games, crappy barely-official releases, and probably has a good chance of getting more games in the future, while Bomberman has had nothing, and doesn't look to be getting much anytime soon either. He's not necessarily going to be dead forever, but this is probably the worst position he's ever been in, and the sooner you shake your bias and realize this the better. Don't hold out hope for him this time.

And Konami didn't have a hand in Bomberman before they absorbed Hudson, they didn't own the IP. Now they do, and they've done nothing with it.

He may as well be at this point. Konami hasn't done anything with him since the buy-out. Heck, even Rocket Knight recently had a revival. Bomberman is likely not going to get into Smash any time soon, and especially not over Snake, or even Simon Belmont...

Other than the lack of Ridley and a DK newcomer, as well as the addition of Nook and three new third-parties it's... decent. Better than your previous ones. Not fantastic.

But I'd stress adding Ridley and a DK newcomer.

Not bad.

First off, why did you choose Tom Nook as a second AC rep? The lack of Ridley and another DK rep surprised me too.


I'm not fond of the Mii, but I can live with it if it was included in the game.

I wouldn't really call it realistic given the lack of newcomers to ANY series (aside from Kid Icarus, and I don't know enough about that new FE rep) that has already been in Smash before the 4th game, and the inclusion of Tom Nook.
