Not sure why people are not too happy with Nook's inclusion, he is a recognizable character and he can have a different moveset from Villager, AC can at the very least get one more rep like Kid Icarus for being very popular.

Not bad.

First off, why did you choose Tom Nook as a second AC rep? The lack of Ridley and another DK rep surprised me too.

I'm fond of the Mii, but I can live with it if it was included in the game.

I wouldn't really call it realistic given the lack of newcomers to ANY series (aside from Kid Icarus, and I don't know enough about that new FE rep) that has already been in Smash before the 4th game, and the inclusion of Tom Nook.
Mr. Resetti seems plausible for a second AC rep if not Tom Nook, since he made it to AT status.

Surgery room for Dr.Mario
...
A PAC Man Stage maybe?

Why not the bottle with the tri-colored virus?
I made that in the Custom Stage maker, but it would be really fun to have an official one. :D

Also, Toad as next and final Mario rep, just so the SMB2 and SM3DW cast is complete. (Not to mention.. the most popular quartet)

New roster guys, this time I only have 45 characters (49 with transformations).

Would you call this realistic?
If it has Chrom over Robin, and no Layton, Yes I would. Bonus points for keeping it under 50, knowing this is SSB4, not SSB5

I'm more fond for the Robin than Chrom, since really he is the main character of FE:A, and could have a more interesting moveset.
I'd argue that Robin is not more of the "main" character than Chrom is, since it isn't even mandatory to use Robin for most of the game's chapters, but all of them require Chrom.

The franchise was just introduced into Smash though, character-wise. And besides, theres much more want for Ridley and DK reps than Nook to my knowledge. It's unlikely a second AC rep would get in over a new rep for a series that has been underrepped for a long time.

Which Mario character should get in
I won't insult your intelligence; I'm sure you can guess who I'm after.

What kind of stages are you guys looking forward to?
IF Paper Mario gets in: Glitz Pit. In fact this is about the only reason why I'd want Paper Mario in over the Mario character I want the most.

If Sonic is back: City Escape. I love that stage. Giant GUN truck for stage hazard.

I'd also like a return to Smash 64's Mushroom Kingdom with the Warp Pipes and Saffron City.

Tom Nook character-wise, could (again) have a unique moveset for his inclusion, as stated by Sakurai for Villager's and WFT's inclusion.

Again, because Villager is "Mr. Animal Crossing" Sakurai chose the avatar of the game and made his move set represent the whole of Animal Crossing. It's like having Mr. game & Watch and then adding the Wolf from Egg. Mr Game & Wacth already represents it all so it's entirely pointless. That's why I refer to Villager as "Mr. Animal Crossing." We don't even need a 2nd AC rep. I

Not as unique as you make it out to be. Can you just get rid of him already?

So could K. Rool, Dixie, and Ridley.

Metroid and DK have been seriously underrepped for a while in the Smash series, and two characters with high potential are more likely to get into the underrepped DK than Tom Nook first. Either Dixie or K. Rool, one of the two, or possibly both.

Ridley has high potential as well, and is Metroid's most viable rep. (and the only one with a high amount of potential at that)

@Noah Villager is not unique in your sense, because it's essentially a fighter using everyday life things as attacks. Is it boring? :troll:
Sakurai considers that unique, Tom Nook can be unique for being a merchant that uses furniture and bells as attacks.

Tom Nook is not unique because Villager already does that ****. If you stupid furniture move set was important it'd be part of Villager's move set. And while Tom Nook is limited to just furniture, Villager uses all kinds of things from Animal Crossing, instead of one type of thing.

Characters like Marth and Ike only use one thing to attack opponents also. Would you call them both unique?

Well, to be fair, there is a good amount of varying furniture in Animal Crossing, he could be unique with some types of furniture. But he wouldn't be too different from Villager in the sense that they both would use a great variety of everyday items.

And I still think Dixie is far more likely than Nook, and she, K. Rool and Ridley have more potential than him.

Oh God, please not Saffron City. That stage is so cheap with that helipad. e_e

I haven't really put much thought into... Buuut I would love a stage of something like;

or

or

Or just any place from

Probably won't happen for a stage, but cmon SMRPGLotS needs some recognition. in terms of history it is one of the most important Mario games out there.

They have abilities based off of them and not the game. Villager has a move set based off the whole game so having another character would not be unique.

Villager has a moveset based off of what he does in Animal Crossing. Everything he does in Smash Bros. is done by him in Animal Crossing.
Wii Fit Trainer has a moveset based off of what she does in Wii Fit. Everything she does in Smash Bros. is done by her in Wii Fit.
Mega Man has a moveset based off of what he does in Mega Man. Everything he does in Smash Bros. is done by him in Mega Man.

Can Tom Nook have a moveset like that?

Exactly, doesn't he just SELL furniture. You don't do anything with the furniture it's just there.

Also who agrees Mr. Resetti would just be a clone of Ike? :p

What about a redesigned Saffron City? Have the Magnet train as a stage hazard, and Sabrina vs. Fighting Dojo master in the background. Watching Alakazam and Hitmonlee/chan duke it out and occasionally let loose a stray attack if the train isn't enough hazard for ya.

I need your guys opinions for my latest roster:

DK - K Rool, Dixie, Both, or None?
Metroid - Should ZSS take up her own slot, or should she be pick able at the menu like Zelda/Sheik?
Star Fox - Fox plus (Wolf/Falco/Krystal.) I'm thinking of limiting Star Fox to two reps but three might be ok.
Fire Emblem - Marth and Lyn (dual wielding swords) plus (Chrom/Ike/Roy.)
Earthbound - Ness or Lucas
One other rep slot is open.
Help organizing the last three rows on the right.

That is even worse. ._. It was bad enough of what you said about bringing back 64 Mushroom Kingdom with the warp pipes, cause pipe stalling is jsut... Ugh Q_Q, but add that onto Saffron City back to, you can just camp on that helipad and win games left and right..... Q_Q

K.Rool imo. I think he fit in better with our assortment of newcomers than Dixie Kong does.

ZSS should be selectable like Sheik.

Wolf+Falco. No reasons to cut them.

Don't really like the idea of Lyn, but Ike>Chrom.

Ness>Lucas. Ness was international and has been in more games.

Add both K.Rool and Dixie.

Not sure on most of the others, but add Bubbles (from Clu Clu Land) on the open rep slot.

ZSS should be selectable like Sheik. - Ok

Wolf+Falco. No reasons to cut them. - Do you want Falco to be less of a Fox clone?

Don't really like the idea of Lyn, but Ike>Chrom. - Lyn didn't appeal to me at first, but I saw some awakening DLC and she had two swords, which is brings something new to the table. I wanted Ghirahim (for his two swords) and was deciding about Goroh or Takamaru (both have katanas), but dual wielding Lyn takes care of these three (dual wielding katanas) plus adds more females, and less blue haired FE characters.

Ness>Lucas. Ness was international and has been in more games. - Ok

Who is the bubbles you speak of (lol) and does he bring anything unique to the roster?

King K Rool seems to be the more popular one.
ZSS should be in Samus's slot, but easily able to select like in Subspace Emissary where you just press a button.
Bwaah, don't limit Star Fox. Just Lugify them more.
I love you for Lyndis. I think Chrom is the most likely out of the three.
Both. Mother is popular enough to have at least two characters...albeit they shouldn't be so similar in moves.

It's a she.

And could be a retro rep. Like the Ice Climbers, there wasn't much she could do in her old NES game, but Sakurai could give her a great moveset using content from Clu Clu Land, just like he did for the IC. Look up Clu Clu Land when you get the chance, I'm sure she could bring a few unique things to it.
