I think it would be absolutely hilarious if Sakurai took all those Goku requests and trolled them by adding in this character by the same name.

Tiki is basically a character in Fire Emblem that has been playable in five of the thirteen games, more than any other character (through normal means. IE, not counting Awakening's DLC). She's of the Manakete species, which are human-like creatures that can turn into Dragons.

Luigi isn't a coward, he's just easily scared. Luigi has done alot to go against the design of his character accordingly being a coward. The Luigi's Mansion series showed that Luigi has real courage to face his fears no matter how scared he may be, he's pretty courageous.

Snorlax shouldn't be in Smash! I mean, let's face it, he's far too big. It's not just his size in general - it's that his size is supposed to be part of his character. It defines who he is. "But Calum, Snorlax wasn't that big in Pokemon Red and Blue", I hear you say:

Some of you may try using this as an example of why Snorlax can be in Smash. I mean, after all, he's not much bigger than Red, right? And Red's already in Smash! But it's pretty clear that this was just due to teknikul limitashuns... it's obvious the developers never intended him to be this big, because even in the remake, Metroid: Zero Mission FireRed and LeafGreen, his sprite has been changed to be much bigger:

See? He's almost double the size of what he was in Red and Blue - it's pretty clear that this is what the developers intended all along. For that matter, it's pretty clear Sakurai sees Snorlax as a giant character. He's already been in Smash before and he was giant, remember? So if he shrinks Snorlax now, it'll just be confusing for the fans and it'll break the canon of Smash Bros.

Plus he's not even recent. God. Frickin' amateur speculators.

Give me an example of trolling. All I did was warn everybody the consequence of legal issues via Goku the Monkey vs DBZ Goku, and everybody attacks me for it, especially Noah and Hotfeet. I've done nothing wrong. I didn't call anybody names like they did. I showed nothing but respect to my opponents in this debate. I calmly answered every question, without attacking with personal insults. In fact, I compare this to William Lane Craig (myself) vs Christopher Hitchens (Noah and Hotfeet), in terms of a respectful debater vs a disrespectful debater.

I gave everybody the respect they deserve. I don't know what the fuss is about, honestly.

I'm aware. This wasn't a diss on Luigi. He's my favourite Mario brother and third favourite Mario character overall.

Still, because he's shown to be nervous around ghosts that want to harm him, giant fire breathing turtle dragons that want him and his brother DEAD and stuff that would easily freak a normal person out he is for some reason labelled as a coward rather than a self aware human being with normal emotions by Nintendo and some Mario fans. Go figure.

Technically, while he does occasionally show signs of courage, Luigi is more of a cowardly, overshadowed brother of a greater video game legend, with the general role of comedic relief and second-bananas-ness.

I don't think there would be much backlash of Tiki as long as she doesn't replace Marth or Ike. I've seen many a people complain about generic blue haired swordsmen lords and want something different. Tiki is none of that and has a reasonable amount of popularity and she was in 5 games and played a major role in 4 of them and a midly important role in the most recent game. She is on the level of Anna, perhaps a bit higher even, but just like Anna she has stiffer competition to compete with, I.E the lords. But still if she got in I would doubt there would be very little backlash. But the thing is despite all the pros of her getting in along with being able to offer a more unique moveset over other characters, does she have enough warrant to get in over a lord? And then which design of Tiki would we use? Her pedo design or her more recent more adultish look? The main problem is that she just hasn't really been considered before.

Snorlax on the other hand.... I would suspect allot of backlash as there are many many more popular Pokemon that people want more and are more deserving. e_e

If anything, the roster was probably finalized before February. This is a professionally developed game, not some fan made mess. They don't just add characters as they go along - they've no doubt got the character list near enough finalized before they even begin touching the coding side of things. Of course, there will probably be characters who get removed from the roster as development goes on, but adding more seems fairly unlikely (unless they're an easy last minute clone or a VERY special exception like Sonic).

Putting Zoroark above Jigglypuff really isn't the most realistic of situations, especially since your points against Jiggs (slot wasting and Kirby-like) obviously didn't stop her inclusion three times in a row.
