Anyways, good afternoon everyone, how's everyone doing today? So what's the subject of the hour? Mega Pokemon? Fire Emblem? Zelda? I ask because our subjects tend to not stray very far away from said patterns.

The FE thing was said jokingly... although I kinda like the discussions about it, despite some of the arguments.
Mega*insert here* was... I'm not really sure if it's the main topic or another joking topic myself...
Zelda...? I think I have missed that part of the discussion.

Maybe Fire Emblem, and a specific game of FE so that it isn't a crazy fan fest debate?
I nominate FE:A, because it's the most recent addition to the franchise.

First is dissing the game mechanics of Pokémon.
I personally like it as I find it better than some other games that I've also played. For example; I'd rather play Pokémon with any Pokémon game mechanic you can name that currently exists for 27 hours strait than say play 2 hours of AMY.

Please point to where in my post I dissed the freaking game mechanics of Pokemon games? All I was doing was making a ****ing comment, and a not very serious one at that, in reply to what Gune said. Stop making something out of Nothing and trying to say I said something I didn't.

I think you've misunderstood him. He's saying you don't need two Metang to make a Metagross. I think. That's the gameplay element he's saying doesn't match the dex info.

I dont think grimm was dissing the mechanic it is a shame the game contradicts it that was a great chance for a new mechanic a crappy one but nonetheless unique.

Speaking of Pokemon, Serebii has shown a new mechanic for X and Y, that easily allows EV training and keeping track of it, allowing even more casual players to get into the competitive metagame. It is known as Super Training.

I think we need to wait a little longer to even consider Wonder Red for Smash Bros. He's a brand new character who hasn't even had a franchise established yet, saying he's a Nintendo all-star this early is seriously jumping the gun. Maybe the next Smash Bros, but for this one...I'd consider forgetting about Wonder Red.

Was your response to a comment in reference to Pokémon. It's understandable then how it would be perceived as you claiming Pokémon's game mechanic is bad then, no? For me if you hold no neutral or positives with the negatives, then that's the same as dissing it. It may be shy of a flood of bad insults that I've come to understand is stereotypical expectations of such a word, but then it's just my mind vs yours then for it to be defined between us right?

I prefer to be nonchalant neutral and/or goofy, not angry or aggressive. Just because I admitted I once acted like TDD doesn't make that any less true. I suppose to better explain it is: This image = my facial expression in this

If such is true, he should've done better to say such in his comment. When saying "this is a bad idea" and giving no "because" leads it open to interpolation on his vague meaning.

Looking at your avatar seriously made me think of something...the...ball dreadlocks MegaLucario has look very familiar...

Almost as if they took some design hints from Giratina Origin Forme (My favorite pokemon) and just stuck it to the back of his head.

On topic: I'm actually surprised to see Mega Pokemon (well, other than Mewtwo). Though, it would be nice to see some come out of Pokeballs (even if it's a bit of a stretch). I think Blaziken is unlikely as a playable character, however, given how it is a popular pokemon, I'd be overjoyed if MegaBlaziken (or normal Blaziken) makes an NPC appearance.

I've always had Lucario and Mewtwo on my roster for the longest time, and I'm glad Lucario's getting some love with its new form. I wouldn't mind if their Mega forms make it in; it's a good way to represent the VI gen (and add some unique gameplay gimmicks) if Sakurai feels the need to with characters. If not, there are other ways to represent generations, as I'm sure you all know.

1. Season 5 was okay. Wasn't the best but it still was funny. I especially loved episode 7 (shake dem hips XD) most out of the entire season

EDIT: Reference to in FE:A you can change your character's classes once they reach lvl 10 along with an axe being used instead of a sword would also be an either/or for the avatar and Lord characters to be a class change

EVERYONE! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! But all joking set aside, the lord has been seen as always a sword bearer. Perhaps the avatar could be a weapons master that uses swords and axes?
That reminds me, I need to get back to the "The lunitics of the lord & lady" challenge on FE:A

(play on lunatic-classic mode with fem avatar and have after the first 3 fights use only Chrom and fem avatar until the end of the game-with exceptions being characters who join you on stage fight but only for that stage fight)
