all I typed was bull**** I don't see whats wrong with that its not like i'm calling him anything
your point was people will get tired of the same characters over the years but people still haven't gotten tired of the main 12 so why is Pokemon different (i'm talking about people not getting bored of the moves of characters now that I think about it I think you mean the character itself not the moves)

You need to be more specific about the standard of how he fits in. What do Mario and C. Falcon have in common... OK they're playable in smash... They're humans... And they punch stuff. Lucario certainly does fit well into the smashverse but as far as I'm concerned mewtwo does too... AND to the same extent.
I meant flavors of the month in the eyes of the Pokémon Company, not in the eyes of Pokémon/Smash fans who are wearing rose-colored glasses.

Do note that I chose Kanto female trainer because I like her design the best, idealy it would actually be 2 multigen trainers with one repping gens 1-3 and the other gens 4-6.

Considering they're still using Charizard in the anime after all this time, Mewtwo is still big within the games and is the legendary with the most movies dedicated to it, and Eevee is still big in the games and the anime, I fail to see how that works. Sure, Pikachu's the mascot, but the only pokemon that really ever lost its time in the spotlight was Jigglypuff.
Just look at their move sets. Very similar, no? >_>

Interesting thought, and well... Other then the fact that Eevee would be less entertaining then pikachu if it never evolved (electricty>ummm sand.) there wouldn't be much of a difference
I'd actually prefer Snake return with Sonic (Though if I had my way there's be no cuts from Brawl whatsoever). Even if that means no 4th 3rd Party character. Snake, Sonic, and Megaman would be good enough. But if one of them must go between the two 3rd parties in Brawl. Sonic just has more popularity/priority.
Well, I don't know honestly, especially since it wasn't Eevee that was the runner-up for main mascot of the franchise (Although now it could be seen that way) at the time, they actually wanted to use Clefairy...which would very freaking odd if you ask me...
Not funny. What I meant is the fact that Jigglypuff has even lost its gag reel, the main point it was used in the anime to begin with, it lost it to Marill. When was the last time we had Jigglypuff in the anime?

I don't know about Mach Rider, and Bomberman would get in over Simon Belmont in a heart beat. I say maybe swap Dixie for K. Rool and definitely replace Toon Zelda with Takamaru.Get rid of Pac-Man and bring back LucasMah new roster.

Ah, I hadn't see you had two PTs. Though I'm pretty sure there will be only one PT. Having another kinda robs the original one of his uniqueness. :/
That is the idea, the gen 1-3 would use Charizard, Grovyle, and Totodile while the gen 4-6 one would use something like Infernape, Dewaot, and Chespin.
His movie, his many appearances in games and anime, his mascot role on pokemon smash, the hype of him being one of the first pokemon from 4th gen, his merchandise that to this day gamefreak still uses, and to top it off hes a Gen mascot, thats everything that made him popular and thats whats keeping him popular (Not to mention relevant) Genesect only has the movie. Darn my Lucario fanboism is showing.
Again the only reason Jiggs is coming back is due to being a mainstay of the smash series it's irrelevance to pokemon doesn't matter because it's relevant to smash -_-
I have Mach Rider over Taku due to preference. Honestly Simon has a better hance then Bomberman imo. Dixie VS Rool is all about personal prefrence, I go with Dixie as I have the feeling she has a better chance. Very true, good sir. The trainer's Pokemon gimmick is what got him in. If we got another Trainer, it would make his unique gimmick stale. I say just have the female Pokemon trainer as an alternate skin.

It's been said before by many others so I'll say it myself, being part of the main 12 does not guarantee you a spot in Smash Bros, especially since Ness was planned to be replaced in Melee and Jigglypuff was such low priority in Brawl. The only way Jigglypuff will get into Smash 4 is if its still as easy to create as it was in past titles, having to create two different models for both versions, and if they're willing to design Jigglypuff with new moves which would take more time. Regardless, Jigglypuff is in jeopardy at this point.
You're forgetting the fact that alot of Lucario's popularity stems from his appearance in Brawl. If it wasn't for that appearance, I highly doubt Lucario would be held in such high regards as he is now.
Eevee is probably considered one of the alternate main mascots of the franchise, as it's the pokemon that's been the starter pokemon in the most games in the franchise, has been obtainable in every generation and is the first pokemon to have that title so far, it's used as the main rival pokemon in Yellow and a bit in the anime, it's always huge in the anime, and it's a really easily identifiable pokemon like that of Pikachu, not to mention it's the only pokemon whose evolutionary family is all very popular, being the most popular/famous family of Pokemon in the entire series.
My reasoning for it is so Pokemon can finally have all gens repped making the Pokemon Company happy. Although we could amke a gen 1-6 multi gen trainer and give him 6 Pokemon also.

By saying Lucario is popular because of smash isn't something you should credit in his popularity. If Genesect was in Smash HE would become almost just as popular. It's like saying "Hey, I have an idea to get rich, first we'll need a ton of money!"
They are not still big in the games and in the anime... more accurately would be... they are big again in the games and in the anime.
