Everyone starts off with horrible speculation. For instance, I actually thought that Ghirahim was a "lock" and that Black Shadow was more viable than Samurai Goroh. After some exposure to other ideals and speculators, most people refine their lists to be more cohesive and practical.

Usually the other Mario characters are starters aside from Luigi. So I would say that her chances of being a starter are somewhat low. Ideally, Sakurai wants the roster and all of the series to be concise. Bowser, Mario, and Peach do that effectively. Luigi is traditionally unlockable, so it is hard to fathom that that would change in Smash 4. Mario doesn't really need two hidden characters, but at the same time, Rosalina is establishing herself as a hidden character in most of her games that I recall. So I assume she will be hidden.

I usually play big characters for fun; Bowser is the character that my sister mains. I am more of a Gandalf person myself. However, I intend on playing both characters a lot. Villains are always my favorite characters.

What's unlockable in the Mario spinoffs =/= Unlockable in Smash 4.
