I agree, he hasnt done anything related to Nintendo since MGS 3D , also he could be replaced as an advanced wars or Jeff character

Tsk. Tsk. Snake was an awesome character, and an exciting one at that, he had great moveset potential. if he's cut its because konami said so, I don't think sakurai would cut him.

Snake wasn't added because he was Nintendo-related. He was added because it was a special request from a personal friend (which gave way to other third-party characters, as well) and because Sakurai saw something special in Snake's potentiality.

I'm not arguing Snake's inclusion is inevitable as of now. I'm arguing Snake's previous induction had nothing to do with being a so-called "Nintendo All-Star", but rather other factors taken into consideration.

Whatever the final roster is, I really hope people won't be ******** "OMG MY CHARACTER ISN'T IN THERE I'M NOT PLAYING SMASH NO MORES!" People should just take the roster for what it is and see if the playstyles are fun. Because gameplay>characters. imo.

We got 18 new character in Brawl. Even if you count Lucas, Wolf and Toon link as clones, that is 15

There's always a chance, so far the only "clones" in my eyes would be semi-clones (Dixie -> Diddy, Mach Rider -> Captain Falcon), and it's been a few years of development, I think a few more newcomers than Brawl is OK.

Brawl did a good job changing up clones making them more different from their originals. I doubt we will be getting a lot of clones this time round

Since sakurai is going for "uniqueness" I'd think the only clones were getting are the ones sakurai feels don't need to changed because of "some rule" or "because fans like this playstyle so i'm not gonna drastically change it".
Oh and obviously if they are pressured for time, (imo unlikely), expect some clones and possible cuts.

Some people actually like clone ganondorf like it or not, so again its possible he might not get a massive overhaul as some people are expecting.What if they made him a clone of another character?
