The difference being, you haven't convinced yourself for the second game in a row that Tetra will replace your least favorite character because of reasons.
Sheik is irrelevant. Let's replace her with an older, realistic styled Tetra.
Depending on whether Ridley reprises his role as a boss for SSB4, Tiki Tong being a boss over K. Rool may be a godsend to his fans.

In Brawl, I just wanted Sheik gone, and have a new Zelda character, not so much Sheik being replaced though.

Time will tell if I'm wrong, but I think Sheik is special since she IS tied to Zelda, who is a more immortal character. My guess is that, unless they see a pressing need to change or eliminate Zelda's ability to turn into Sheik in SSB, they won't. But maybe they DO have a reason or see a need to do so. They didn't in Brawl, so I'm unsure why that would be any different now.

Because Zelda is a seriously badly written character? And the 'implied playstyle' is just wrong. Soften foes up with Sheik, who has swift, weak but safe attacks. Finish off with Zelda, who has slow, occasionally strong, and unsafe attacks. It's a recipe for disastrous balance.

Honestly, I think this is very true. It's just that Nintendo themselves took Zelda as their bigger priority themselves. Thinking they made a sort of 'magical forumla' with Ocarina of Time and try to copy it time and time again. Hence I liked Skyward Sword so much for being so different (also the dungeons, say anything else about the game, but the ****ing dungeons man... BEST).
