I feel adding Genesect over Zoroark is like adding Darkrai over Lucario.

Looking at now and pre Brawl, the situations are just to dissimilar to say. Lucario had a lot of staying power because of Brawl, which was released in the middle of Gen4. Smash4, meanwhile, is being released after Zoroark's generation. And Zoroark has almost ceased being promoted as well. The fact that it's being released at the end of the generation is very important because Genesect is the last Pokemon of Gen5. It's the Pokemon that many will remember going into the early stages of Gen6 because Genesect was promoted, however lightly or heavily, not to long ago.
Now that I type that up and actually read it to myself, it sounds like a fancier way of saying "muh recency."

It's well done. Very good use of video; you definitely put time into it.

If you DID decide to go more in-depth, I would recommend voice of course, but that's just me.

But in the future...please spell Isaac's name right. Sorry if that's nitpicky, but, well...that's my name, and I can't tell you how many times it's been misspelled that way.

Eh...with the Zoroark vs Genesect thing, I do feel like it's closer "Lucario vs Darkrai." Not to the same extent, but Zoroark is, I believe, Lucario's 5th gen mirror in terms of promotion. If I remember correctly, the initial XY trailer, in which they first showed off Sylveon and Pokemon Amie, featured Pikachu, Lucario, and Zoroark. I think Zoroark is much more akin to Lucario than Genesect.

But maybe that's not all to consider; just because Zoroark is Lucario's 5th gen...uh...equivalent (?) doesn't mean it'd be a better or more likely choice than Genesect. Still though, between the two, I'd go with Zoroark.

Doc Louis is right up there with Cranky and Groose in terms of comical characters that would be on my personal wish roster. He'd basically give his commentary in the middle of fighting, like a WFT that was actually funny. His Final Smash would be him turning into Zero Suit Doc as well.

I can't see them adding Zoroark. I don't think it's nearly as popular as Lucario and it seems like they dropped it reletively quickly; opting to use proven popular Pokemon like Lucario and Mewtwo as the 'cool' Pokemon to market again. I can't really think of ways to use Illusion that would be very effective either.

As for Genesect, it's a neat Pokemon and I like it, but I think it's just one of the many legendary Pokemon that happen to have been in a movie and that's it. I'd love to see what they could do with its cannon, though.

Of the two, I would say Zoroark is more likely to get in; if only because it was promoted as the gen 5 Pokemon, and seems to at least have decent popularity. Moreso than what I've seen for Genesect at least.

Just my thoughts on this.

That's not really the kind of thing Sakurai does...

The only thing he did anything similar to that was with Roy, and that was because he was the only FE character that stood out, other than Marth. His back was against a wall there and I doubt he'll be in a similar situation this time around.

Yes. Doc Louis should be in the background and yell inspiring things to Mac when he's losing, while proclaiming his love for chocolate when he's doing well.

I think that Doc Louis could even be a snake-codec like thing for Little Mac, where he pops out of random places on the stage. How awesome would it be to see Doc Louis pop up on the screen in Pokemon Stadium. Or the moon turns into Doc Louis' head and says "Hey Mac baby!"

I saw this other idea once that said if Pit had a codec-like thing with Palutena, when he try's to ask Palutena about Little Mac, Doc Louis comes up and starts talking to Pit. Kind of like how Slippy talks to snake for the Falco codec.

You know, even though I didn't really think that much about Rosalina and was shocked that she is in this game, I gotta admit I now feel far more positively about her. Heck, with the likes of Rosalina, Mega Man and the Villager, I wouldn't mind there being far less newcomers around.

So does anyone think Doc Louis will be part of Little Mac the same way Pokemon Trainer is a part of his Pokemon?

Yeah there's a chance that the remaining newcomers will simply be the major ones. Ridley and King K. Rool are probably the biggest priorities, but we can't forget any of the notable icons, such as Little Mac.

And Pac-Man as the iconic third party from namco (if they get any character in that is) I have a feeling they will reveal pacman last like sonic (but not due to rushing) to show that namco actually did get a representative when everyone has given up on him.

I mean, I love those characters to death, and I am quite confident in their inclusion, but saying WHEN they are revealed is being far too confident.
I feel that I can only make claims like that with 2 characters: Little Mac and Mii. Palutena is borderline.

Not too sure, but I think it would simply be a switch in tactic the tag team would have. Maybe Dixie would be good at covering the air, while Diddy is good at covering ground.

No, not really. That mechanic in all likelihood would have been one monkey following the other as an aesthetic gimmick, then swapping leaders with Down Special.

I was thinking the most likely idea for Diddy and Dixie was a literal tag team.
One kind of follows the other, while faded out a little, until a D-Special is used and one monkey tags the other in, switching spots.
Although I think one of the main reasons this never happened is because of how similarly Diddy and Dixie would play, so the gimmick would prove to be almost useless.

Maybe it could be like Mario's Star Spin from the Galaxy titles; Rosalina would ascend a little bit while performing the attack. However, Rosalina would be able to do multiple Star Spins, which may help with her recovery options.

Well, Waluigi has never actually appeared in a Wario game. That's something I will never understand.
