Yeah, it's of an already announced game. If that qualifies Zelda U isn't clear.

A hardcore gamer is someone who dedicates an above-average amount of time, energy, and/or interest into a game or games. Hardcore games are games generally susceptible to a high amount of hardcore gamers. Unlike popular opinion, the genre/system/style of the game doesn't matter, it's how people respond to them. It's just that certain genres/systems/styles appeal more to potential hardcore gamers than others whether due to stigma, or intended target or promoted audience, and that's how the general opinion is formed. That's how I see it at least.

Because there's absolutely no evidence it will be at VGX.

I'm still half expecting Nintendo to go "Here's a new DKCTF trailer. Oh look Cranky. K bai!"

I can't say that it won't be there for sure, but there's no guarantee that it will be there. I can guarantee you that it won't be a Mii reveal.

It could easily be a new Bayonetta 2 thing, or something for X, or even the Cranky Kong reveal.

PAL box art shows Cranky holding on for dear life. Nothing of the sort is on the NTSC-U cover at the moment though.

The European box art suggests Cranky is the 4th playable Kong in Tropical Freeze, although it hasn't been confirmed yet.

There are two types of Hardcore gamers

1- the actual hardcore gamers that are knowledgable about gaming in general and basically the opposite of Casuals

2- the "hardcore" gamers (in quotes), the guys that play CoD and Xbox their entire life and think Nintendo is for babies.

No, if your not overhyped you only crash down when you figure it wasn't as good as you expected and if you don't go overhyped, the big news will get to you even more, so just stay regular hyped or not hyped at all.
