Eh, as long as people simply say they don't want him back (because they can't enjoy his moveset, don't like his character or would prefer someone else etc) instead of saying he SHOULD be gone, I guess I can respect their opinion.

EDIT: Unless, that is, they want him gone simply because they don't like fighting him.... I just laugh at people who would cut a character for that reason.

I understand if Ike is gone; he is not overly concerned about returning. He is too selfless. He only fights for his friends.

there are a couple, mostly because they think he was cheep in brawl, and just don't want him too return so they don't have to fight him, selfless B******
me personally, can't wait to see how much buthurt he will cause :)

Off topic, but I hope Arata Iiyoshi and the other PMD composers are part of SSB4's music team.
Iiyoshi made arrangements (or are they remixes?) of The Dark World, Skyworld, and White Land in Brawl.

I don't know, but I just want at least dialga's fight to the finish and wigglytuff's guild/treasure town remixed for smash.

the only thing about smash speculation is that it makes me realize that grovyle from PMD2 has absolutely no chance of getting in.

always makes me sad, every time.

yeah, let's do it!

It's rare that I find a spin-off entry of a series better then the actual core games. I don't think it's ever happened before with me. PMD 2 is my favorite pokemon game to date.

I still haven't played the new PMD though, is it good? I finally might get a 3DS and that game is high on my priority list.

Can't wait to see what SSB4's story mode is about. Hopefully not the school bus taking everyone to Smash Land. XD

Would be pretty cool if it's sort of aftermath to the Subspace Emmisary.
Back when Taboo was defeated, the game ended, just like that. So it would be kinda cool to see what happened to everyone after that. They got dispersed, they went back to their homes only to find something wrong with them, perhaps a new threat.

Even if it's just ONE opening cutscene and the rest is simply Adventure Mode, I'd love to see some sort of continuity with the SSE. :)

(Mother Brain, the new major threat, wants to take over videoland the Nintendo Universe)

Oh you're fine! I completely agree with that statement. I was going to include Fire Emblem in my statement before I posted it, but I felt like I would get heat from Roy fans. I love Roy, he's my all time favorite smash character, but he is no longer relevant in Smash or in Fire Emblem, so he should not return. I feel like I'm the only Roy fan who accepts that the isn't relevant and is hoping for Chrom or another Fire Emblem character to be in the game.

The first two are better by a long shot. You only get to choose between 5 pokemon, there isn't alot of pokemon you can recruit, nothing super rare also, plus the cool legendary boss pokemon aren't recruitable in the game. The only redeeming points are that it's PMD and the multiplayer.
