I mean, I could be possible for stage element Rosalina to be a hologram or projection or something, as she's appeared like that in Galaxy 2 if I remember.

I'm not saying she won't get in, I'm just wondering how people on Miiverse are reacting to this.

They're probably saying Luma is confirmed or something.

The kids on Miiverse are mostly just talking about how beautiful the stage looks. There's a few people saying that Rosalina would be cool to reveal now soon, but it's not a big outcry. More are talking about what other elements might be on the stage, like travel to other galaxies.

Honestly, on Rosalina, I'm seeing just as many "she should be in" posts as "she should not get in over Bowser Jr." posts.

I saw that stage gimmick coming like everyone but i kinda dissapointed... the platafforms design really seems boring to play in.
Is just me or all the stages tend to be pretty big? ridley confirmed ;P

I'm actually wondering if the stage rotates, or moves at all to show the whole planet off.

Also everyone saw the gimmick of a Galaxy stage coming, if you meant the curvature. It was obvious.

TL was a background element, true, but he was Spirit Tracks TL, not Wind Waker TL. Rosalina would just be Rosalina.

I knew everyone saw it coming, i mean since like the first mario galaxy trailer xD
I have a long time thinking in the curvature, and thought it will become boring after a while. Now they came with this gimmick with the stage being so big and a so simple design that even rotating doesnt seems too fun... hope being wrong though.

Nope, i was thinking something more like gravity man with inverted gravity, is more "plataformic" style, this is more a visual effect than anything.

The reason for the lack of Bowser tracks is because I think most of them would be better suited for a Bowser's Castle stage. (like SMG2's Galaxy generator and the final Bowser battle tracks)

Space Zone 2 (Star Maze) could work for this stage, but I think it should be on a scrolling stage based off Chai Kingdom 4-3 from the original SML.

Lastly, there needs to be a Mario Party stage in Smash. That is all.

Wow. That new stage looks pretty awesome. Having characters and projectiles curve makes sense given the game it was based on. But does anyone think that the gravity could be lower. Y'know a stage that has a gimmick of making everything floaty-er?

I was contemplating trying out my new PS4 versus getting on the forums... but my PS4 hasn't arrived yet. So, I checked out the daily picture (as usual) and something interesting (aside from a character reveal) happened for the second time. I thought that once I hopped on that the Rosalina support would be rampant, I was somewhat correct. I must admit, even I am starting to perceive her as a possibility now. I still think she would be a better assist trophy, but the more I think about it, maybe Sakurai is taking this "we need more female genitalia in Smash" to heart?

Well, at least Rosalina supporters finally have some traction. I am secretly rooting for her, but Toad... (or Waluigi, Bowser Jr., and maybe even Paper Mario) would be more ideal choices.

Edit- I forgot to ask... is anybody more interested in the gravity mechanic than Rosalina's chances in Smash? I am really excited that this opens up the possibility of changing properties of stages. Hopefully we don't get anything too crazy like 75m.

As much as having Rosalina because of the Mario Galaxy stage makes sense, anyone who seriously thinks that Mario Galaxy = Rosalina without a doubt needs to be reminded that Delfino Plaza =/= Bowser Jr. in Brawl despite Jr. being a major character in Sunshine.

Delfino Plaza isn't even Bowser Jr.'s home stage anyway. If anything, he'd probably share Bowser's home stage, if Bowser's Castle does get made.

And the worst part is that you're comparing Nintendo's horrible marketing decisions to Masahiro Sakurai's criteria and demographic when in reality it doesn't even affect him AT ALL. That is unbelievable. I'm sorry, but nothing in Melee and Brawl looked like it was targeting kids. Especially Mario being angry and bad ass all the time instead of all Mickey Mouse like.

to have a more physical difference between the 2 variations, Toon Link is still a "Young" Link, just portrayed in a different art style.

But, that still contradicts your point that Sakurai will add the more recognized character which according to you is the one with more sales. You're implying more sales means more likely and more deserving. Meaning Young Link should be higher priority than Toon Link.

Not to mention, shouldn't the sales of Melee combined with Binding Blade, Awakening DLC, and the amount of internet fan art show that more people recognize Roy?

Don't count on newcomers being revealed in the same manner as veterans, we'll probably have to wait for big Nintendo Directs or big conventions like E3 to see some of them. So yeah, expect Zelda next week.

I can't imagine Rosalina hitting people with her butt or pull out a frying pan. At most she'd have some attacks where she'd hit with her crown, maybe havea Luma that functions like Toad.

Unless their movesets are altered, seeing the Star Spin on Mario and/or Luigi is probably just wishful thinking.

I think it could be the best new comer they could announce in this moment, not exactly unexpected but good news for a lot of people.

Here's a simple Rosalina moveset I posted a few weeks ago, if anyone's interested.

"Her A moves would involve space and star-based magic with her wand, while her special moves would involve Polari and are mainly borrowed from Mario's actions in the Galaxy games.

B: Luma Spin - Functions just like in Galaxy. Boosting Rosalina slightly upward when used in the air while stunning opponents and deflecting (but not reflecting) most projectiles.

Forward B: Star Bits - Rosalina shoots star bits from her wand. Fast but weak projectiles.

Up B: Launch Star - Polari transforms into a black launch star and shoots Rosalina upwards. Her path can be changed, and she can travel in an arc.

Down B: ??? - Maybe her reflecting bubble shield, but the Luma Spin move kinda makes that redundant.

Final Smash: Comet Storm

Having Rosalina would be interesting, but Toad should be next in line if we get a new Mario character. It just feels natural."

It won't.
The FE characters will likely be Marth, Ike, and Chrom (who actually blend really well together tbh, look at their names in a row, I can totally see it being a thing).
I expect all 3 of them to appear in SMT x FE, and I expected all 3 of them in Smash beforehand.
No affect, but a possible affect on reveals.
